Studying might not be so hard if it was at this gorgeous desk! The vibrant wall paper makes this a beautiful and unique space to work.

The image displays a streamlined home office area that is the epitome of modern minimalism. The built-in desk and shelving unit are painted in a soft neutral tone, providing a clean and cohesive look that blends seamlessly with the room's decor. The open shelves are thoughtfully curated with a mix of books, decorative objects, and greenery, adding a personal touch and a bit of nature to the workspace. A stylish, contemporary desk lamp with a gold finish stands on the desk, offering task lighting with a touch of elegance. The simplicity of the lamp's design complements the overall minimalist aesthetic of the space. The chair at the desk is a modern design piece itself, featuring a black frame with a woven seat and backrest, adding texture and contrast to the space without sacrificing comfort or style. The choice of chair underscores the room's modern vibe and dedication to form as well as function. Underfoot, the carpet's plush texture provides comfort and warmth, anchoring the work area and contrasting with the sleek lines of the furniture. This office space is a testament to a design philosophy that values clean lines, functionality, and a calming color palette to create an environment conducive to productivity and creativity.

Combining home office storage and a relaxing entertainment space, our latest completed project blends Hague Blue walls and cabinetry to showcase the elegant American Black Walnut shelving and slatted panelling – a nod to the rich tones of client’s traditional dark wood desk.

Design by Vibe Design Group Photography by Travis De Clifford The brief to Vibe Design Group required a family home for the clients' two young children and occasional overnight guests. Timeless appeal and a flexible zoned layout were priority. As passionate cooks and entertainers, it was important that an expansive and functional kitchen be incorporated into the heart of the home.

This home office features bespoke cabinetry designed around the proportions of the room, with the desk positioned beneath the windows to create a generous workspace for two. A central island provides additional surface area for projects and everyday tasks, while the surrounding storage keeps the room practical and organised. The walls and joinery are painted in Farrow & Ball’s Oval Room Blue, paired with Armac Martin Cotswold Bun Cabinet Knobs and Cotswold Cup Pulls in Aged Brass. Patterned Roman blinds and a selection of upholstered and timber furniture add character to the space while keeping the overall scheme cohesive.
