Nakamoto ForestryFrom SinglePoint Design Build: “This project consisted of a full exterior removal and replacement of the siding, windows, doors, and roof. In so, the Architects OXB Studio, re-imagined the look of the home by changing the siding materials, creating privacy for the clients at their front entry, and making the expansive decks more usable. We added some beautiful cedar ceiling cladding on the interior as well as a full home solar with Tesla batteries. The Shou-sugi-ban siding is our favorite detail.
While the modern details were extremely important, waterproofing this home was of upmost importance given its proximity to the San Francisco Bay and the winds in this location. We used top of the line waterproofing professionals, consultants, techniques, and materials throughout this project. This project was also unique because the interior of the home was mostly finished so we had to build scaffolding with shrink wrap plastic around the entire 4 story home prior to pulling off all the exterior finishes.

Alexander Gorlin ArchitectsOur gut renovation of a mid-century home in the Hollywood Hills for a music industry executive puts a contemporary spin on Edward Fickett’s original design. We installed skylights and triangular clerestory windows throughout the house to introduce natural light and a sense of spaciousness into the house. Interior walls were removed to create an open-plan kitchen, living and entertaining area as well as an expansive master suite. The interior’s immaculate white walls are offset by warm accents of maple wood, grey granite and striking, textured fabrics.
TATCOR Building & RemodelingThe inside space is wide plenty of long rectangular windows on each of the three exterior walls, providing excellent views of the surrounding nature with a hint of privacy. While the plethora of windows provides a lot of natural lighting for the space, recessed lighting was also added for dreary days and evening relaxation. Electrical outlets were added for the homeowner’s convenience.
Studio Four Point TenRear elevation of our beach side renovation project in Kent, positioned just beyond the sand dunes with a beautiful sea view. The existing house interior was renovated with new bathrooms, an extended open plan kitchen and dining space and the loft converted with a new stair and dormer window feature. The rear extension provides a generous balcony to enjoy the sea view and clad with a grey standing seam metal an elegant glass balustrade. Folding sliding doors open up the space to the garden and sea breeze.
building Lab, inc.Eichler in Marinwood - At the larger scale of the property existed a desire to soften and deepen the engagement between the house and the street frontage. As such, the landscaping palette consists of textures chosen for subtlety and granularity. Spaces are layered by way of planting, diaphanous fencing and lighting. The interior engages the front of the house by the insertion of a floor to ceiling glazing at the dining room.
Jog-in path from street to house maintains a sense of privacy and sequential unveiling of interior/private spaces. This non-atrium model is invested with the best aspects of the iconic eichler configuration without compromise to the sense of order and orientation.

Studio 16 ArchitectsBaitul Iman Residence is a modern design approach to design the Triplex Residence for a family of 3 people. The site location is at the Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Land size is 3 Katha (2160 sft). Ground Floor consist of parking, reception lobby, lift, stair and the other ancillary facilities. On the 1st floor, there is an open formal living space with a large street-view green terrace, Open kitchen and dining space. This space is connected to the open family living on the 2nd floor by a sculptural stair. There are one-bedroom with attached toilet and a common toilet on 1st floor. Similarly on the 2nd the floor there are Three-bedroom with attached toilet. 3rd floor is consist of a gym, laundry facilities, bbq space and an open roof space with green lawns.
Exact Architectural GlazingWe worked with Concept Eight Architects to achieve the vision of the Glass Slot House. Glazing was a critical part of the vision for the large-scale renovation and extension. A full-width rear extension was added to the back of the property, creating a new, large open plan kitchen, living and dining space. It was vital that each of the architectural glazing elements featured created a consistent, modern aesthetic.
This photo displays the exterior view of the floating corner sliding doors; an integral part of the extension design, operating as a seamless link from the indoor to outdoor entertaining areas.
