LLI DesignIt was important to make this room warm, welcoming and cosy especially as it had been so under used in the past. The palette was kept to oranges, taupes and greys, together with a walnut floor. This progresses harmoniously from the open plan area adjacent to it. A sizeable and comfy L shaped sofa along with an orange accent Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair and a large textured rug were specified. An oversized classic arc lamp finishes the space.
A full width, bespoke lacquer wall hung unit was specified, under lit with a warm hum of LED. The 65” TV was set flush into a bespoke stud partition, so, although large it didn’t dominate the room.

LUX Design | Interior Design BuildLUX Design renovated this living room in Toronto into a dramatic and modern retreat. Complete with a white fireplace created from Callacutta marble able to house a 60" tv with a gas fireplae below this living room makes a statement. Grey built-in lower cabinets with dark walnut wood shelves backed by an antique mirror ad depth to the room and allow for display of interesting accessories and finds. The white coffered ceiling beautifully accents the dark blue / teal tufted couch and a black and white herringbone rug ads a pop of excitement and personality to the space. Lou Lou's DecorDesigner Stacy Carlson has created a cozy and colorful family room, using an aqua trellis rug, coral printed chairs and pillows, a stone fireplace surround, a coffee table that doubles as ottoman seating for four with a custom nautical chart top! John Bost Custom WoodworkingCustom built-in entertainment center consisting of three base cabinets with soft-close doors, adjustable shelves, and custom-made ducting to re-route the HVAC air flow from a floor vent out through the toe kick panel; side and overhead book/display cases, extendable TV wall bracket, and in-wall wiring for electrical and HDMI connections. The last photo shows the space before the installation.
Hierarchy Architecture + Design, PLLCLavish Transitional living room with soaring white geometric (octagonal) coffered ceiling and panel molding. The room is accented by black architectural glazing and door trim. The second floor landing/balcony, with glass railing, provides a great view of the two story book-matched marble ribbon fireplace.

Robeson DesignWith a neutral color palette in mind, Interior Designer, Rebecca Robeson brought in warmth and vibrancy to this Solana Beach Family Room rich blue and dark wood-toned accents. The custom made navy blue sofa takes center stage, flanked by a pair of dark wood stained cabinets fashioned with white accessories. Two white occasional chairs to the right and one stylish bentwood chair to the left, the four ottoman coffee table adds all the comfort the clients were hoping for. Finishing touches... A commissioned oil painting, white accessory pieces, decorative throw pillows and a hand knotted area rug specially made for this home. Of course, Rebecca signature window treatments complete the space.
