Melinda Mandell Interior DesignOur goal was to create an elegant current space that fit naturally into the architecture, utilizing tailored furniture and subtle tones and textures. We wanted to make the space feel lighter, open, and spacious both for entertaining and daily life. The fireplace received a face lift with a bright white paint job and a black honed slab hearth. We thoughtfully incorporated durable fabrics and materials as our client's home life includes dogs and children.
MC Design LLCThis home office doubles as a guest room when needed, as the ottomans easily move aside and the sofa pulls out to a bed.
By layering a large area rug over wall-to-wall carpet, it makes the space feel warm and inviting, whereas without the rug, the room would appear somewhat empty.

Roof Maker was asked to help bring the wow factor to the sunroom with their triple-glazed Slimline® roof lantern. They were tasked to install this rooflight in just one day.
猫と建築社南向きの中庭から明るい光が射し込むピットリビング。
家族が一番多くの時間を過ごすこの場所にたくさんの猫のための遊び場を設けた。
ステップを上り右へ行けばガラスのキャットウォーク～おこもりハウスへ。左へ行けば思い切り爪を砥いでも怒られないサイザル麻タイル貼りの壁～キャットウォークへ。
キャットウォークからは高い位置から外を眺められる猫専用窓、ガラスキャットウォークの方には家族の寝室を見守れる窓を設置している（施主の希望で寝室には猫は入れない）
