Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncMaster suite addition to an existing 20's Spanish home in the heart of Sherman Oaks, approx. 300+ sq. added to this 1300sq. home to provide the needed master bedroom suite. the large 14' by 14' bedroom has a 1 lite French door to the back yard and a large window allowing much needed natural light, the new hardwood floors were matched to the existing wood flooring of the house, a Spanish style arch was done at the entrance to the master bedroom to conform with the rest of the architectural style of the home.
The master bathroom on the other hand was designed with a Scandinavian style mixed with Modern wall mounted toilet to preserve space and to allow a clean look, an amazing gloss finish freestanding vanity unit boasting wall mounted faucets and a whole wall tiled with 2x10 subway tile in a herringbone pattern.
For the floor tile we used 8x8 hand painted cement tile laid in a pattern pre determined prior to installation.
The wall mounted toilet has a huge open niche above it with a marble shelf to be used for decoration.
The huge shower boasts 2x10 herringbone pattern subway tile, a side to side niche with a marble shelf, the same marble material was also used for the shower step to give a clean look and act as a trim between the 8x8 cement tiles and the bark hex tile in the shower pan.
Notice the hidden drain in the center with tile inserts and the great modern plumbing fixtures in an old work antique bronze finish.
A walk-in closet was constructed as well to allow the much needed storage space.
Custom Design & ConstructionThis project is a whole home remodel that is being completed in 2 phases. The first phase included this bathroom remodel. The whole home will maintain the Mid Century styling. The cabinets are stained in Alder Wood. The countertop is Ceasarstone in Pure White. The shower features Kohler Purist Fixtures in Vibrant Modern Brushed Gold finish. The flooring is Large Hexagon Tile from Dal Tile. The decorative tile is Wayfair “Illica” ceramic. The lighting is Mid-Century pendent lights. The vanity is custom made with traditional mid-century tapered legs. The next phase of the project will be added once it is completed.

The Galeana GroupThis bathroom is situated between two bedrooms in 1920s mansion in the heart of one of San Antonio, Texas' most important historic districts. The design was created for a teenage girl (hence the subtle touches of pink), but it's historically relevant and classic design makes it appropriate for anyone. The beauty of this project is that the space looks clean and updated, but also looks like it could've been original to the house.

Graf DevelopmentsRaised ceiling of kid's bathroom and clad in reclaimed metal barn roofing. Cabinets built to mimic antique look however, the mirror is an old window with glass replaced.

As a result we transformed the bathroom in to a light and airy space that beckons any home owner to enter to a spa looking space with upscale fixtures and amenities. We offered our client contractor discounted pricing toward the purchase of all Bathroom Plumbing Fittings including the vessel tub, vanity and bathroom fixtures. Tiles were provided at deep discounted while sale prices. Vanity top, Saddles and other marble pieces were all custom fabricated in our shops and installed by our Renovation Expert Technicians.

Nomad Remodeling & OutdoorsThis guest bathroom remodel embodies a bold and modern vision. The floor dazzles with sleek black hexagon tiles, perfectly complementing the matching shower soap niche. Adrien Pillay DécorationLa salle de bain, vaste, se pare de faïence blanches sur toutes la hauteur des murs à la manière des salles d'eau des années 20. Ces carreaux à la surface irrégulières permettent de jouer avec les reflets de lumières vaporeux que filtrent les rideaux en lin. Au sol, des émaux de Briares octogonaux confirment cette ambiance début de siècle, de même que la baignoire sur pied, d'époque, ré-émaillée, trônant devant un miroir ancien chiné. Les coffrages bas qui filent le long du mur exterieur cache les tuyaux et permet d'encastrer un radiateur et une niche de rangement. La porte vitrée, initialement au rez de chaussée, a été remontée ici.
