Classic Home ImprovementsThis Poway living room features a home wet bar area located right off the living room. Featuring white Waypoint cabinets and a gray quartz countertop to match the rest of the kitchen. This MSI vinyl flooring was replaced throughout the entire home to create a uniform design in this modern transitional Poway home.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingSince this home is on a lakefront, we wanted to keep the theme going throughout this space! We did two-tone cabinetry for this wet bar and incorporated earthy elements with the leather barstools and a marble chevron backsplash.
Loria Design GroupBar area provides seating for 5, plus the Bartender of course! A pub tables allows for puzzles, drinks or both.
Willet Construction Inc.The bar was constructed with a live-edge hackberry countertop, which was also used for the shelving behind it and in the nearby bathroom.
Denise Quade DesignMirror was used on the backsplash to reflect the light back into the space. Floating shelves were included for alcohol storage. Below that, more shallow depth cabinets were included for extra bottles, mixers, wine openers, etc. A wine refrigerator was recessed into the wall.
BasementRemodeling.comThis transitional kitchen-like wet bar contains dark cabinets that contrast beautifully with light walls and backsplash.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingSometimes things just happen organically. This client reached out to me in a professional capacity to see if I wanted to advertise in his new magazine. I declined at that time because as team we have chosen to be referral based, not advertising based.
Even with turning him down, he and his wife decided to sign on with us for their basement... which then upon completion rolled into their main floor (part 2).
They wanted a very distinct style and already had a pretty good idea of what they wanted. We just helped bring it all to life. They wanted a kid friendly space that still had an adult vibe that no longer was based off of furniture from college hand-me-down years.
Since they loved modern farmhouse style we had to make sure there was shiplap and also some stained wood elements to warm up the space.
This space is a great example of a very nice finished basement done cost-effectively without sacrificing some comforts or features.
S.Flynn Design + BuildHosting was a top priority for our clients, who requested a serving bar with lots of storage and room to sit. To maximize space, we designed a custom U-shaped bar with ample seating. Inside the bar, we made room for lots of appliances, including two refrigerators on each end. The bar wouldn’t be complete without drawer components to hold wine and liquor bottles, so we outfitted the space with all the storage they needed, including an additional serving area that provides even more room.
Cabinet-S-TopThis basement renovation involved installing Medallion Lancaster Frappe cabinetry in the bar area. On the countertop is Dolomite-Pietra Caravino granite with a leather finish. Also installed: A Miseno Apronfront stainless steel sink and a Moen chrome Arbor bar faucet, 3 Hinkley Linear pendant lights and a new pool table light. New basement stairs were installed using Kraus Landmark 5” plank floor whistle stop color and a new custom barn door. On the floor is Enstyle Culbres wide – Inglewood Luxury Vinyl Tile.
Red House RemodelingThe space was great, but it was just a big open room without the functionality the homeowners desired. After removing an exterior door that led into the entertainment area, we added custom home theater cabinetry, a bar with gathering space around an island, and all new flooring. Now the family can enjoy movies on the big screen and entertain friends in a casual, comfortable space tailored to their needs.
