This is a ground up custom home build in eastside Costa Mesa across street from Newport Beach in 2014. It features 10 feet ceiling, Subzero, Wolf appliances, Restoration Hardware lighting fixture, Altman plumbing fixture, Emtek hardware, European hard wood windows, wood windows. The California room is so designed to be part of the great room as well as part of the master suite.
Haven Design and ConstructionThe lovely primary bedroom feels modern, yet cozy. The custom octagon wall panels create a sophisticated atmosphere, while the chandelier and modern bedding add a punch of personality to the space. The lush landscape draws the eye to the expansive windows overlooking the backyard. The homeowner's favorite shade of aubergine adds depth to the mostly white space.
Colossus Mfg.Neutral cream tones and a honey/chestnut vintage furniture set are the staples for a zen inspired bedroom. Calming antique artwork, twin wicker pendants, and a light green built-in wardrobe complete this open and airy bedroom.
BA Staging & InteriorsExtensively renovated colonial located in Chappaqua, NY with 3,801 sq ft, 4 beds and 2.5 baths staged by BA Staging & Interiors. Bright white was used as the predominant color to unify the spaces. Light colored furniture, accessories and décor were chosen to complement the open floor space of the kitchen, casual dining area and family room.
Kristin Hoaglund DesignThis beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.
The Lee W. Robinson CompanyVaulted ceilings and shiplap walls create a powerful visual statement in this master bedroom, while a plush bench adds a pop of color and comfort to the room. We created a serene environment with the neutral colors, plush linens and personalized decor, so that at the end of the day, this space can serve as a retreat.
Haven Design and ConstructionOur team began the master bedroom design by anchoring the room with a dramatic but simple black canopy bed. The next layer was a neutral but textured area rug with a herringbone "zig zag" design that we repeated again in our throw pillows and nightstands. The light wood of the nightstands and woven window shades added subtle contrast and texture. Two seating areas provide ample comfort throughout the bedroom with a small sofa at the end of the bed and comfortable swivel chairs in front of the window. The long simple drapes are anchored by a simple black rod that repeats the black iron element of the canopy bed. The dresser is also black, which carries this color around the room. A black iron chandelier with wooden beads echoes the casually elegant design, while layers of cream bedding and a textural throw complete the design.

1
