UserPulling together this traditional family room’s palette are a pair of custom diptych lakescape artworks in shades of aqua, turquoise, white, and green. Below the artwork resides a plump sofa upholstered in teal chenille and accented with navy welt and navy checked pillows. Flanking the sofa are two black faux bamboo side tables with gold detailing. Atop the tables stands a pair of blue and white striped ginger jar lamps with white shades. A comfy lounge chair and ottoman are smartly covered in a deep aqua and indigo floral and accented with polished nickel nails. An iron glass topped cocktail table rests on a wool rug that grounds the space and protects the walnut stained hardwood floor. A roman shade dressed in a blue trellis pattern and midnight blue band hangs in the window allowing soft light to filter in to the space. Light gray walls and ceiling are punctuated with white trim and provide a fresh neutral backdrop for the harmonious colors living here.

Anik Pearson Architect, P.C.Dropped soffits were removed and original ceiling heights were restored with new crown moldings, paneled walls and custom built-ins, to bring Old World glamour back to this Upper East Side apartment. A blue lacquered Chinoiserie-Style coffee table sits in front of a comfortable upholstered linen sofa. The wall paint is Dorian Gray by C2 paint.
