Mastercraft Kitchens New ZealandOne of the prominent features of this kitchen is the spacious walk-in scullery, which is the size of small kitchen in itself.

building Lab, inc.Eichler in Marinwood - The primary organizational element of the interior is the kitchen. Embedded within the simple post and beam structure, the kitchen was conceived as a programmatic block from which we would carve in order to contribute to both sense of function and organization.

Emily Roose InteriorsA mountain modern designed kitchen complete with high-end Thermador appliances, a pot filler, two sinks, wood flat panel cabinets and a large counter height island. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the great room as well as connected to the large exterior deck through large glass sliders. The 10 foot custom walnut dining table was designed by principal interior & furniture designer Emily Roose. The great room linear fireplace has a custom concrete hearth and is clad in black metal as well as rusted steel columns. In between the rusted steel columns are Modular Art Panels that were custom painted and are lit with LED strips running down behind the rusted steel columns. The fireplace wall is clad in custom stained wood panels that also hides away the TV when not in use. The window off of the prep sink counter slides back to act as a pass through out to the BBQ area on the exterior large deck.

SoKiplingThe kitchen has solid timber carcasses with solid ash doors and drawer fronts. The towers maximise the storage space and allows not having large wall units. Instead 2 units sitting on the worktops hide the kettle and toaster and 2 shelves .
Thyme & Place Design LLCThis small kitchen packs a powerful punch. By replacing an oversized sliding glass door with a 24" cantilever which created additional floor space. We tucked a large Reid Shaw farm sink with a wall mounted faucet into this recess. A 7' peninsula was added for storage, work counter and informal dining. A large oversized window floods the kitchen with light. The color of the Eucalyptus painted and glazed cabinets is reflected in both the Najerine stone counter tops and the glass mosaic backsplash tile from Oceanside Glass Tile, "Devotion" series. All dishware is stored in drawers and the large to the counter cabinet houses glassware, mugs and serving platters. Tray storage is located above the refrigerator. Bottles and large spices are located to the left of the range in a pull out cabinet. Pots and pans are located in large drawers to the left of the dishwasher. Pantry storage was created in a large closet to the left of the peninsula for oversized items as well as the microwave. Additional pantry storage for food is located to the right of the refrigerator in an alcove. Cooking ventilation is provided by a pull out hood so as not to distract from the lines of the kitchen.
Bates JoineryA well functioning modern kitchen that compliments the architectural design of the house, as well as incorporating natural timbers into the design that flow into other design elements throughout the house.

Eco German KitchensFrom initial architect's concept, through the inevitable changes during construction and support during installation, Jeff and Sabine were both professional and very supportive. We have ended up with the dream kitchen we had hoped for and are thoroughly delighted! The choice and quality of their products was as good as any we had evaluated, while the personal touch and continuity we experienced affirmed we had made the right choice of supplier. Dangler DesignA large induction cooktop was located to a new peninsula with a hood located in the ceiling so as not to obstruct the view.

JMc ArchitectsSited at the Peak of Whitfield Mountain, with expansive views, this 4 bedroom + 3 bathroom house is an intelligent reinterpretation of city fringe hill slope living. It is an appropriate response to its exposed site, tropical climate, and the framed view. The house is anchored to the site with mass footings in order to extend over the peaks edge, heightening the connection between the inside and out. On entering the house, the breezeway frames the view, expressing the conceptual ideology of the houses provocative, elegant but practical outcome.

Mastercraft Kitchens New ZealandThe scullery contains another fridge and a large, double sink, each located at the ends of a long benchtop that takes up the entire back wall. This benchtop provides plenty of workspace, plus more than enough room a full array of small appliances. Above, open shelving offers easy access to plates, glassware and cookbooks. Underneath, there are drawers and more open shelving for larger items, such as platters.
