Custom steel hood fabricated in-house by Ridgecrest Designs. Custom wood beam light fixture fabricated in-house by Ridgecrest Designs. Steel mesh cabinet panels, brass and bronze hardware, La Cornue French range, concrete island countertop and engineered quartz perimeter countertop. The 10' AG Millworks doors open out onto the California Room.
Fiorito Interior DesignThe request from my client for this kitchen remodel was to imbue the room with a rustic farmhouse feeling, but without the usual tropes or kitsch. What resulted is a beautiful mix of refined and rural. To begin, we laid down a stunning silver travertine floor in a Versailles pattern and used the color palette to inform the rest of the space. The bleached silvery wood of the island and the cream cabinetry compliment the flooring. Of course the stainless steel appliances continue the palette, as do the porcelain backsplash tiles made to look like rusted or aged metal. The deep bowl farmhouse sink and faucet that looks like it is from a bygone era give the kitchen a sense of permanence and a connection to the past without veering into theme-park design.

MYKILOSWir waren sehr erfreut, für ein schönes Berliner Apartment einen Küchenraum zu inszenieren, der das Zusammenspiel von modernster Technik und hochwertiger Handwerkskunst vereint. Das Herzstück der MS Küche bildet die Arbeitsplatte aus zeitlos schlichtem Beton. Die Regalbretter aus Eichenfurnier werden optisch durch LED Downlights in Szene gesetzt. Nahtlos integrieren sich Handtuchhalter in die jeweiligen Enden des Küchenkorpus. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Raumseite setzen schwarze Linoleumfronten auf schwarz durchgefärbtem Valchromat und getönten Glasschiebetüren einen farblichen Kontrapunkt. Für die Fliesenspiegel haben wir cremefarbene Mutina-Fliesen gewählt.

Elegant details include the stunning pendant lights, gold faucet and barque glass. Floating shelves and glass hardware complete this glamorous yet cozy space.
Normandy RemodelingA coffee bar with a small sink for guests and the upper glass front cabinets make it easy for guests to choose the correct cabinet to get their glasses. The beverage center also makes it easy for guests to take what they want while others are using the fridge.
