Shalford InteriorsCreated for a charming 18th century stone farmhouse overlooking a canal, this Bespoke solid wood kitchen has been handpainted in Farrow & Ball (Aga wall and base units by the windows) with Pavilion Gray (on island and recessed glass-fronted display cabinetry). The design centres around a feature Aga range cooker.
SGDI - Sarah Gallop Design Inc.The gourmet kitchen pulls out all stops – luxury functions of pull-out tray storage, magic corners, hidden touch-latches, and high-end appliances; steam-oven, wall-oven, warming drawer, espresso/coffee, wine fridge, ice-machine, trash-compactor, and convertible-freezers – to create a home chef’s dream. Cook and prep space is extended thru windows from the kitchen to an outdoor work space and built in barbecue.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsA partial remodel of a Marin ranch home, this residence was designed to highlight the incredible views outside its walls. The husband, an avid chef, requested the kitchen be a joyful space that supported his love of cooking. High ceilings, an open floor plan, and new hardware create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. With the concept that “less is more,” we focused on the orientation of each room and the introduction of clean-lined furnishings to highlight the view rather than the decor, while statement lighting, pillows, and textures added a punch to each space.
Kitchen Studio: Kansas CityThis tiny kitchen was barely usable by a busy mom with 3 young kids. We were able to remove two walls and open the kitchen into an unused space of the home and make this the focal point of the home the clients had always dreamed of! Hidden on the back side of this peninsula are 3 cubbies, one for each child to store their backpacks and lunch boxes for school. The fourth cubby contains a charging station for the families electronics.

Arcata Cabinet & Design CompanyNarrow kitchens have no fear! With a great designer, great product and motivated homeowners, you can achieve dream kitchen status. Moving the sink to the corner and the big refrigerator towards the end of the kitchen created lots of continuous counter space and storage. Lots of drawers and roll-outs created a space for everything - even a super lazy susan in the corner. The result is a compact kitchen with a big personality.

Marker Girl HomeSelections were made to go with the open floor plan and mix with the simple grey tones of the Living Room and Dining room areas. Barstools from Duralee furniture were added to mix in a more traditional feel to the modern style kitchen. Edison bulb pendants keep it simple but give a mix of modern and traditional that the couple wanted. Very durable commercial grade suede was use to upholster the barstools. New England Design & ConstructionOpen transitional kitchen with modern white and gray cabinets and open shelving, custom cat storage for food, and exterior entryway and bicycle storage. Soapstone and engineered quartz counters shine against a zinc backsplash, with many hanging storage options as well as special appliances like pull-out beverage drawer and multiple ovens in the island.
