Kitchens Direct, IncThe young chef, homeowner wanted a space where he could entertain guests in an open and inviting environment. A complete overhaul of the living area of the main floor was required to achieve his vision. The layout of this split level home was opened up completely to allow for a much larger feel in the living space.

Velin HomesDesigned by Pico Studios, this home in the St. Andrews neighbourhood of Calgary is a wonderful example of a modern Scandinavian farmhouse.
ArtichokeA pantry for a large country house project in cerused oak and sandstone. The divides are limestone and the worktop is in Santa Fiore sandstone.
Emily’s InteriorsThrough a collaboration with a local architect, we created a sleek, modern addition that stayed true to the original style and construction of the house. The clients, a busy family of five, wanted the addition to appear as if it had always belonged while simultaneously improving the flow and function of the home. Along with exterior addition, the kitchen was completely gutted and remodeled. The new kitchen design is a complex, full overlay, wood grain cabinet design that greatly improves storage for the bustling family and now provides them with a new dining room in which to entertain.

Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncA Modern home that wished for more warmth...
An addition and reconstruction of approx. 750sq. area.
That included new kitchen, office, family room and back patio cover area.
The custom-made kitchen cabinets are semi-inset / semi-frameless combination.
The door style was custom build with a minor bevel at the edge of each door.
White oak was used for the frame, drawers and most of the cabinet doors with some doors paint white for accent effect.
The island "legs" or water fall sides if you wish and the hood enclosure are Tambour wood paneling.
These are 3/4" half round wood profile connected together for a continues pattern.
These Tambour panels, the wicker pendant lights and the green live walls inject a bit of an Asian fusion into the design mix.
The floors are polished concrete in a dark brown finish to inject additional warmth vs. the standard concrete gray most of us familiar with.
A huge 16' multi sliding door by La Cantina was installed, this door is aluminum clad (wood finish on the interior of the door).
Jasmine McClelland DesignA beautiful project in Alphington where contrasts meet. Dark cabinetry and benchtops are lightened by timber overheads and the wow factor from the green tiles cleverly laid in a vertical stack next to a square stack.
Laura Medicus InteriorsThis is a circa 1904 Denver Square in Congress Park. We remodeled the kitchen, powder room and the entire basement. In the photos, look for the vintage dining room sideboard that we were able to save and move into the kitchen. We added french doors to an exterior patio in the dining room where it used to sit.
