LionCraft ConstructionFrom the initial consultation call & property-visit, this Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego whole-home remodel was a collaborative effort between LionCraft Construction & our clients. As a Design & Build firm, we were able to utilize our design expertise and 44+ years of construction experience to help our clients achieve the home of their dreams. Through initial communication about texture, materials and style preferences, we were able to locate specific products and services that resulted in a gorgeous farmhouse design job with a modern twist, taking advantage of the bones of the home and some creative solutions to the clients’ existing problems.
Chester County Kitchen & BathOur design team installed Adura MAX Vinyl plank floating floors across the entire first floor. The flooring color Dockside Boardwalk provided a more desirable look in both finish and wide plank. Modern vinyl floors look like wood, are more durable than wood, water proof, and easy to clean; which makes them perfect for this clients growing family. Fabuwood Cabinetry in the Cobblestone finish look sleek and pair nicely with the kitchens new tones. The large central island is filled with storage, seating, and countertop space. The New River granite countertops shine under all the new LED recessed and under cabinet lighting. A little painting spruce up and now the scene is set to finish with the homes new more current finishes and furnishing.
Lisa & LeroyBecause of the 2 windows and a door, we couldn’t put cabinets there without it looking weird. The homeowners needed storage but didn’t want to lose light, so we came up with this open shelving plan.
Also, adding historic elements like the antique gold lights over the windows and the subway tile paid just the right homage to the home.
ManningtonLike a beautifully aged fine wine, Napa is a character oak design with a classic European ceruse finish that reveals grain lines without affecting the overall color of the floor. Each 8-inch wide x 72-inch long plank is embellished with mineral streaks, deep knots and painted edges that give this rustic chic floor its remarkable character and rich under-glow. Available in four hues: Barrel, Dry Cork, Spirit and Tannin.

Niche reDesignDated wood kitchen undergoes a transformation! The old angled island had no storage and blocked the lake view. We created a butler's pantry by stealing some of the front room space, which was converted into a small office with a barn door.
Edgewater Design GroupWhat do you do if you have a lovely cottage on Burt Lake but you want more natural light, more storage space, more bedrooms and more space for serving and entertaining? You remodel of course! We were hired to update the look and feel of the exterior, relocate the kitchen, create an additional suite, update and enlarge bathrooms, create a better flow, increase natural light and convert three season room into part of the living space with a vaulted ceiling. The finished product is stunning and the family will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.
The Jack + Mare | Portland Design & BuildSplit Level 1970 home of a young and active family of four. The main public spaces in this home were remodeled to create a fresh, clean look.
The Jack + Mare demo'd the kitchen and dining room down to studs and removed the wall between the kitchen/dining and living room to create an open concept space with a clean and fresh new kitchen and dining with ample storage. Now the family can all be together and enjoy one another's company even if mom or dad is busy in the kitchen prepping the next meal.
The custom white cabinets and the blue accent island (and walls) really give a nice clean and fun feel to the space. The island has a gorgeous local solid slab of wood on top. A local artisan salvaged and milled up the big leaf maple for this project. In fact, the tree was from the University of Portland's campus located right where the client once rode the bus to school when she was a child. So it's an extra special custom piece! (fun fact: there is a bullet lodged in the wood that is visible...we estimate it was shot into the tree 30-35 years ago!)
The 'public' spaces were given a brand new waterproof luxury vinyl wide plank tile. With 2 young daughters, a large golden retriever and elderly cat, the durable floor was a must.
