White Birch Design, LLCWhen the clients for this 1940's Minneapolis home came to us with their kitchen, they wanted to really make a kitchen they could be proud to come home to and entertain friends and family. With a Scandinavian focus in mind, we played with a number of different elements to bring the whole design together. The cabinets are painted a blue/gray color and the tops are a marble-like quartz. The backsplash is a simple, yet elegant, gray elongated subway tile that tucks up right under the floating shelves and upper cabinets. The floors are a wood-looking luxury vinyl plank. Finally the open shelves are made of reclaimed barn wood sourced from Minnesota. One of the focuses in this kitchen was to create a space for coffee. The coffee nook was specifically designed to accommodate the specific coffee maker the homeowners selected. Overall, we are completely in love with this look and how beautiful it turned out!

Blenker ConstructionThis gourmet kitchen features custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, brick backsplash, state-of-the-art appliances, a double island and custom pantry.
J.A.DPour rendre cette pièce aussi esthétique que pratique, chacune des zones a été précisément définie :
* L'ensemble colonnes pour y intégrer les appareils
électroménagers.
* Une zone technique avec la plaque de cuisson, l'évier et le mitigeur, ainsi que beaucoup de plans de travail.
* Un coin "petit déjeuner" à l'abri des regards et dynamisé par le papier peint, pour avoir sous la main tout le nécessaire au quotidien.
* Un espace sous forme de banquette pour des repas conviviaux en famille ou entre amis avec la table formée par un duo Terrazzo/métal.
Le sol en vinyle imitation parquet posé en Pointe de Hongrie apporte le caractère au projet, et vient contraster avec le vert pastel des meubles.
Les courbes des éléments de cuisine ainsi que
l'espace banquette rendent la circulation plus fluide et apportent beaucoup de douceur à l'ensemble.
Côté déco, ce sont la rondeur et la douceur qui
priment avec (entre autres) le velours des chaises et de la banquette, le verre et le laiton des luminaires et le look rétro des appareillages électriques.

We kept the country Cotswolds feel but incorporated some contemporary elements to update the decor, playing with the colours that the owner particularly loves, blue and green. The large round table fits up to 10 people, ideal for large diner parties from day time to evening.
FlooretRich deep brown tones of walnut and chocolate finished with a subtle wire-brush. A classic color range that is comfortable in both traditional and modern designs. As a returning client we knew this space would be a pleasure to complete, having previously updated their main bath. The variegated blue picket tiles add bold colour the homeowners craved, while the slab doors in a natural maple with matte black finishes and soft white quartz countertops offer a warm modern backdrop.
Filled with personality, this vibrant new kitchen inspires their love of cooking. The small footprint required creative planning to make the most efficient use of space while still including an open shelf section to allow for display and an open feel. The addition of a second sink was a game changer, allowing both sides of the room to function optimally. This kitchen was the perfect finishing touch for their home!
