Lesher Natural Stone, Quartz, & Tile
These two custom made soapstone sinks are best described as "farm style vessel bowls" designed for a customer who had this to say:
"I chose to work with Lesher Natural Stone, Quartz, & Tile for a bathroom installation in our 200 year old farm house. The decision was deliberate, after looking extensively in central Pennsylvania for a company that offered something other than big-box, mass market products. Frank's [Lesher] obvious passion for his work was infectious. His willingness to accommodate my schedule, to hear my vision for the space, and to produce, on the spot, several novel design ideas that still honored our centuries-old home sealed the deal. It was easy to reach a design plan and from design through installation, all went smoothly and on time. Given another opportunity, I'd make the same choice again without hesitation."

Our clients bought the top floor of the world-renowned former pottery and brewery as an empty shell. We were commissioned to create a stylish, contemporary coastal retreat. Our brief included every aspect of the design, from spatial planning and electrical and lighting through to finishing touches such as soft furnishings. The project was particularly challenging given the sheer volume of the space, the number of beams that span the property and its listed status. We played to the industrial heritage of the building combining natural materials with contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. Stark and deliberate contrasts were created between the exposed stone walls and gnarled beams against slick, stylish kitchen cabinetry and upholstery. The overall feel is luxurious and contemporary but equally relaxed and welcoming.

What's a farmhouse master bath without the presence of white shiplap? This master bath features a freestanding tub that sits at the center of large windows and a see-through fireplace. Vessel sinks and wall mounted matte black faucets are necessary elements of a perfect farmhouse.

Floor - is an oak floor painted black with a low-sheen urethane finish.
Shower - is a marble shower pan with a pebble finish - there is a hidden trough drain under the shower seat allowing us to eliminate the center drain and enjoy the beauty of the full slab of marble. The glass is a seamless european-style surround and it is held at the top by a basic black plumber's pipe and components giving it it's industrial esthetic.
Beams -These were not original beams, we created the look to appear original but they are new wood, sanded, stained and finished to look old.
Bathtub - The bathtub is a Kohler Vintage Free Standing tub with a cove-trim base.
Tower - The bathroom tower was custom built by an artisan in the region.
Countertop - The countertop is a wood stained, hand-hewn walnut with a marine finish (helps with water absorption) and custom cut by fabricator
Light Fixtures - These light fixtures were from WaterWorks
Walls - The walls are large scale bead boards with a sprayed lacquer conversion varnish which gives it the clean white look
