Our client came to us with a vision for their family dream house that offered adequate space and a lot of character. They were drawn to the traditional form and contemporary feel of a Modern Farmhouse.
MCHUGH SOLUTION:
In showing multiple options at the schematic stage, the client approved a traditional L shaped porch with simple barn-like columns. The entry foyer is simple in it's two-story volume and it's mono-chromatic (white & black) finishes. The living space which includes a kitchen & dining area - is an open floor plan, allowing natural light to fill the space.
EGF ServicesRetiled shower walls replaced shower doors, bathroom fixtures, toilet, vanity and flooring to give this farmhouse bathroom a much deserved update.
Arch Studio, Inc.2021 - 3,100 square foot Coastal Farmhouse Style Residence completed with French oak hardwood floors throughout, light and bright with black and natural accents.
Becker Building & Remodeling Inc.Basement bathroom finish includes custom tile shower with acrylic shower pan, farm-house style framed black shower enclosure, black fixtures, kohler toilet, open shelves, and clear rustic finish hickory vanity and shelves. White subway tile shower with Corian Acrylic storage shelves and black hex tile on floor.
K and Q InteriorsThis guest bathroom is modern farmhouse at it's finest. Dark gray hex tile with light grout and white subway tile with dark grout play up the patterns. It's subtle yet interesting.
Amy Peltier Interior Design & HomeThis farmhouse designed by our interior design studio showcases custom, traditional style with modern accents. The laundry room was given an interesting interplay of patterns and texture with a grey mosaic tile backsplash and printed tiled flooring. The dark cabinetry provides adequate storage and style. All the bathrooms are bathed in light palettes with hints of coastal color, while the mudroom features a grey and wood palette with practical built-in cabinets and cubbies. The kitchen is all about sleek elegance with a light palette and oversized pendants with metal accents.
