Wright DesignThis transitional timber frame home features a wrap-around porch designed to take advantage of its lakeside setting and mountain views. Natural stone, including river rock, granite and Tennessee field stone, is combined with wavy edge siding and a cedar shingle roof to marry the exterior of the home with it surroundings. Casually elegant interiors flow into generous outdoor living spaces that highlight natural materials and create a connection between the indoors and outdoors.

Carolina V. Gentry, RIDThis forever home, perfect for entertaining and designed with a place for everything, is a contemporary residence that exudes warmth, functional style, and lifestyle personalization for a family of five. Our busy lawyer couple, with three close-knit children, had recently purchased a home that was modern on the outside, but dated on the inside. They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. Upon a previous client referral, they called on Pulp to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and some stairs, resulting in dramatic results. Beth and Carolina layered in warmth and style throughout, striking a hard-to-achieve balance of livable and contemporary. The result is a well-lived in and stylish home designed for every member of the family, where memories are made daily.

SchoenerThe room was very small so we had to install a countertop that bumped out from the corner, so a live edge piece with a natural branch formation was perfect! Custom designed live edge countertop from local wood company Meyer Wells. Dark concrete porcelain floor. Chevron glass backsplash wall. Duravit sink w/ Aquabrass faucet. Picture frame wallpaper that you can actually draw on.
Blue Heron Signature HomesThe powder room was intentionally designed at the front of the home, utilizing one of the front elevation’s large 6’ tall windows. Simple as well, we incorporated a custom farmhouse, distressed vanity and topped it with a square shaped vessel sink and modern, square shaped contemporary chrome plumbing fixtures and hardware. Delicate and feminine glass sconces were chosen to flank the heavy walnut trimmed mirror. Simple crystal and beads surrounded the fixture chosen for the ceiling. This room accomplished the perfect blend of old and new, while still incorporating the feminine flavor that was important in a powder room. Designed and built by Terramor Homes in Raleigh, NC.
