Jennifer A. Emmer/Feng Shui StyleThis jewel of a powder room started with our homeowner's obsession with William Morris "Strawberry Thief" wallpaper. After assessing the Feng Shui, we discovered that this bathroom was in her Wealth area. So, we really went to town! Glam, luxury, and extravagance were the watchwords. We added her grandmother's antique mirror, brass fixtures, a brick floor, and voila! A small but mighty powder room.
By Design Interiors, Inc.Powder bath is a mod-inspired blend of old and new. The floating vanity is reminiscent of an old, reclaimed cabinet and bejeweled with gold and black glass hardware. A Carrara marble vessel sink has an organic curved shape, while a spunky black and white hexagon tile is embedded with the mirror. Gold pendants flank the mirror for an added glitz.
Judith Balis InteriorsI used a tumbled thin brick in a herringbone pattern on the floor, dark wood paneling on the walls, and an old dresser for the vanity. This small room packs in a lot of character and sophistication.
Paxton Place DesignUpon walking into this powder bathroom, you are met with a delicate patterned wallpaper installed above blue bead board wainscoting. The angled walls and ceiling covered in the same wallpaper making the space feel larger. The reclaimed brick flooring balances out the small print wallpaper. A wall-mounted white porcelain sink is paired with a brushed brass bridge faucet, complete with hot and cold symbols on the handles. To finish the space out we installed an antique mirror with an attached basket that acts as storage in this quaint powder bathroom.
