Wright Street Design Group Inc.Initially quite generic and unimpressive, this powder room was not up to snuff for our clients who loved to collect art. Vehemently rejecting the generic this powder room takes its focus from a favorite piece of artwork, a ceramic wall plaque decorated with the whimsical image of an art loving couple - he with a SoHo Gallery Guide, she with a shopping bag from New York’s Museum of Modern art. The plaque is by Muskegon artist Louise Hopson. The color of glaze the artist used to trim the male figure’s coat - dark, pumpkin orange is repeated in the powder room’s new counter top. Grand Homes & RenovationsUsing custom built mirrors, bronze metal accents, natural travertine floors and combined wood species in this bathroom remodel allows for vibrant colors and smooth, sleek textures. The goal of the vanity design was to incorporate separate free standing units with ample storage in between. We added a separate water closet with additional storage to free up more vanity space. The slate tile shower with its massive frosted glass door and the integrated transom light allow bright natural light to flow in. A built-in ledge in the shower incorporates into the design a simple solution for storing shampoo bottles and soap.

The final result is a warm, sophisticated sanctuary that effortlessly embodies comfort and elegance.
A wooden vanity takes center stage with a captivating backlit countertop, harmonizing effortlessly with a stylish mirror and complemented by ambient wall sconces.
