SLC Interior DesignA contemporary space designed for Telford Homes as a show home for their New Garden Quarter development.
When designing this space, I really focused on bringing the outside in, as all apartments are centered around a beautiful communal garden, created to encourage community.
The brief was to portray the fast-paced city lifestyle, with clean colours and natural woods with greenery throughout, representing the landscaped garden development, whilst conveying a luxury meets convenience lifestyle.
It was to be stylish, cool yet cosy in design with a light and more 'earthy' environment and a mixture of materials.
Denise MazanThis home was created for a sweet family that escaped a domestic violence situation and became homeless. She is a single, working mother of two little girls ages 3 and 5 years old. When I met them they had just gotten their apartment and were living in it with literally nothing, no beds, no furniture, not even dishes. They lived that way for over two months while I pulled together donations from everyone I knew working with @penandnapking.org. We couldn't have done it without the most generous donations from @polyandbark, @lampsplus and @thepaintlab, plus all of the amazing volunteers.

Staging With Style NYCTo add more dimension to the living room, we added an accent wall and selected a dark turquoise sofa and purple velour chair from Sofa.com. The mirror and green table are both over 60 years old and were purchased from W & J Sloane. The accent pillows from ABC Carpet & Home. We also added touches of turquoise in the corner table lamp and vases along the window sill. The green tray is designed by John Derian and the beige curtains are from Madura of Paris. The brown console is over 100 years old and has been in the family for four generations.
