TRU Landscape ServicesThe planter walls in this modern backyard have built in wood benches (matching the wood accent wall pictured elsewhere in this project). Note how the grass in the planters and the tree add verticals to the space, helping it to appear larger and more open. TRU Landscape Services
Wagner Design GroupThis yard was an unusable muddy lawn flanked by tall Arborvitae. We removed the hedge and replaced it will a beautiful Ipe screen that serves as the backdrop to a concrete water feature that spills into a channel that runs the length of the patio. Corten steel planters contain Equisetum plantings, as well as Bamboo that screens a trampoline for the childrens fun. Pavers and black mexican pebbles make up the new hardscape for the patio.
Fiano LandscapesThis patio may look like wood, but it is in fact a concrete paver! The paver is a Techo-Bloc product called Borealis. Its natural wood grain surface mimics the beauty of wood, yet gives us the durability of concrete pavers. The pavers were laid directly over the existing concrete patio, which was still in good shape with minimal cracking and settling.
The lovely couple that lives here wanted a new cedar pergola. But what they ended up with was that and an entirely new and cool back patio space that will last for years and years!

Abingdon HeightsNestled in a tight back yard is this little Oasis. Designed to to be somewhat informal to reflect clients past cottage memories. The focal point is an iron art piece that the client purchased years ago. It sits nicely between the two Slender Silhouette Sweetgums and highlighted with landscape lighting and a beautiful gas fire pit.
Horn & Co. (Previously JHLA)A new bluestone patio allows for a seamless transition between the indoor kitchen and the outdoor spaces. The new cedar fence and espaliered Euonymus allow this urban garden space to remain spacious and flexible for both entertaining guests and encouraging play.

This display is 2 meters long, featuring a black and stainless steel 4 burner Beefeater barbecue, black Rhino bar fridge, a bank of 3 drawers with soft close and a 2 door cupboard with a shelf. Complete with solid backs, bases and matching end panels to support the 40mm Caesarstone benchtop that encapsulates the barbecue.
This unit is available from Kitchens by Matric and can be installed in a covered alfresco area, meeting and exceeding Australian fire safety standards.
