Our clients in this small, but swanky condo in Portland’s Pearl District had just a tiny corner of space to work with. Tucked in between the fireplace and floor-to-ceiling terrace doors, we transformed this formerly awkward and unused storage space into a showstopper of a home wine and cocktail bar.

Wood block countertop against the black matte petite subway tile continues the Scandinavian design style. Black painted plumbing pipe and custom floating shelf that matches cabinets completes the look of this small dry bar.
Denise Quade DesignThis guest bedroom transform into a family room and a murphy bed is lowered with guests need a place to sleep. Built in cherry cabinets and cherry paneling is around the entire room. The glass cabinet houses a humidor for cigar storage. Two floating shelves offer a spot for display and stacked stone is behind them to add texture. A TV was built in to the cabinets so it is the ultimate relaxing zone. A murphy bed folds down when an extra bed is needed.

TruKitchensThe coffee bar features cabinets from Grabill Cabinets in Glacier White on their Aberdeen door style. It is topped with a Walnut wood countertop from Grothouse. It looks like a beautiful piece of furniture and serves as a great location for overflow serving in the event of a large gathering.
Afka Designs Ltd.Turned the awkward indented space into a beautiful bar area. This is a bar area to make make mixed drinks or pour a glass of wine to kick back and relax after a long day.
AC Interiors Design & BuildThis bar was created in an unused hallway space. It also provides extra storage for kitchen over flow.
TOMHILL STUDIOA small bar area sits in a corner of the Conservatory. The entire wall system and cabinet were designed using the 200 yr old beams from the basement excavation and is a nice contrast to the sleek finishes throughout the home. A turquoise retro mini fridge keeps snacks and drinks at the right temp and saves one from traveling the 4 flights of stairs down to the Kitchen.
