It’s a challenge to convert a space that was intended for a car into a living space, but the existing vaulted ceiling, and wide open floorplan gave us the inspiration we needed. Inside the bright and airy cottage, the space includes a living area, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and laundry. The large sliding French Doors flood the space with light, and opens to the backyard deck, with easy access to the original home.

Compact kitchen even has a wine cooler for entertaining!
A 1930’s boathouse is renewed with an updated space and new pier, everything inside is new. Some new features include: NanaWalls, tall glass doors fold open completely onto a new deck, a working kitchen with an island that houses a hydraulic can swivel and move around on a whim, a sofa sleeper has double function, a TV is on a swing arm, and tables transform and combine for different needs. It’s a small space everything had to be multi-functional. Storage is a premium, a handcrafted ladder displays quilts when its not being used to access a loft space in a dropped ceiling. With nautical touches the revitalized boathouse shed is now a great place to entertain and watch the sun set on the water.

The Family Room included a sofa, coffee table, and piano that the family wanted to keep. We wanted to ensure that this space worked with higher volumes of foot traffic, more frequent use, and of course… the occasional spills. We used an indoor/outdoor rug that is soft underfoot and brought in the beautiful coastal aquas and blues with it. A sturdy oak cabinet atop brass metal legs makes for an organized place to stash games, art supplies, and toys to keep the family room neat and tidy, while still allowing for a space to live.
Even the remotes and video game controllers have their place. Behind the media stand is a feature wall, done by our contractor per our design, which turned out phenomenally! It features an exaggerated and unique diamond pattern.
We love to design spaces that are just as functional, as they are beautiful.

Greens and blues are a fresh approach in this comfy TV room. Custom builtin cabinetry display treasured family memories, and house AV equipment and games. A deep, Arhaus sofa can easily accomodate everyone.

A simple bookshelf becomes stately, painted in in just the right hue of blue. The shelves become a gallery of carefully selected and revolving coastal content.

Fresh Start Interiors
This coastal kitchen needed a refresh. Its solid wood cabinets were painted in a sage green, with putty colored trim and a cherry island and dark countertop. We painted the cabinetry and replaced countertops and appliances. We also moved the refrigerator to a side wall to create a better work space flow and added two windows to provide symmetry on the cooktop wall. A new custom wood hood and patterned marble backsplash help add a cheerful upbeat vibe to a previously subdued and muted space.
