Art of Kitchens Pty LtdThis spectacular two-tone West Pennant Hills home cleverly incorporates all the practical needs of a family space without compromising visual appeal and charm.
Theater One IncThis room has a 5.1 surround sound system with a 70" flat panel TV mounted above a fireplace. The center channel speaker was concealed in an alcove under the TV and behind black grill cloth.
An RTI automation system was used to control the A/V system as well as indoor/outdoor house audio.
Other products used were Marantz, KEF, Sony, and Sharp.
TG-StudioOriginally a bread oven, this alcove was hidden behind a partition wall and used as storage. TG Studio opened up
into the living room and introduced a circular roof light and four different shaped windows with yellow tinted glass to
create a very large chill out niche/snug. At night LEDs light up these windows so they glow yellow and stand out next
to the stone façade. A round window in the ceiling allows further light in. The cushions are by Ferm Living and Tasca.
The sidetables are from French Connection.
Caileen DesignsThe family room operates as the media room for this young family. The wood barn door allows the space to be closed off and darkened for movies or video games. A comfortable sectional sofa, swivel barrel chairs and round ottomans offer plenty of seating for the family of 5. Archaeo ArchitectsSTONE, WATER, LIGHT
An arced stone wall begins at an existing boulder on the site, curves along the hillside and flows into and through the house, terminating at the source of a stream. The house is grounded to the site.
The stream flows along a circulation path past the entry to the outside. Interior and exterior are intertwined.
A long narrow skylight casts a slice of light across a wall of art down to a narrow band of water. As the sun arcs across the sky light dramatically Changes.
OakWood Designers & BuildersThis client wanted a 4 season Sunroom which allowed them to view their newly landscaped backyard. Ventilation was a main concern along with keeping true to the original style of the house.
