Several features and finishes were kept or restored from the original finish of the house. The new products and finishes were chosen to emphasize the original custom decor and architecture. In the DeetsWith an elegant bar on one side and a cozy fireplace on the other, this sitting room is sure to keep guests happy and entertained. Custom cabinetry and mantel, Neolith counter top and fireplace surround, and shiplap accents finish this room.
Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCWalnut flooring in a herringbone pattern visually separates the great room from adjoining spaces. The recesses on either side of the fireplace have window seats that provide extra seating, which we recovered with deep blue nanotech performance fabric. Pale gray grasscloth wall covering adds texture while allowing the importance of the wood moldings to shine; the horizontal rhythm of the grasscloth is echoed in the area rug and the performance fabric of the sectional and loveseat, creating a variation on a theme. Pops of navy in the bar stools and pillows with coordinating patterns add interest and color without fighting or complicating the space.

Driwood Moulding CoNatural cherry wood wet bar compliments the traditional painted wood in the drawing room. The transitional style adds a touch of modern instincts in this classic home.
Camden Grace LLCElevating the style of the living room and adjacent family room, a fashion forward mix of colors and textures gave this small West Hartford bungalow hight style and function.
TEMZASmart spatial planning allowed us to convert this traditional, narrow semi-detached Victorian house into a spacious family home. By opening the two small reception rooms into one larger space with the feeling of separate zones, we were able to create different seating areas, with focal points around the beautiful original fireplace and the custom-made TV reception unit.

Two custom-made ottomans on castors allow ease of movement for serving, sitting, or as footrests. The custom end table is a variation on a classic with a fresh, artistic twist and clean, graceful lines; the finish coordinates with its surroundings and the grain adds interest. The area rug warms and grounds the grouping. The shuffleboard table provides extra family fun.
