This breathtaking ocean-front family vacation retreat is positioned between the beach and harbor, an idyllic haven offering panoramic sunset views that will leave you in awe. Our mission was simple yet profound: to let the natural beauty of the surroundings shine while infusing the interior with elements that evoke the tranquility of the ocean.
Drawing inspiration from the sandy shores, we embraced white-washed wood veneers and wood-look porcelain tile flooring, chosen for their practicality and resilience, especially for a space frequented by energetic grandkids. To add a twist of creativity, we installed the tiles in a unique pattern, inviting you to "walk along the plank" towards the mesmerizing vistas.
The dining room serves as a tribute to the couple's engagement in Santorini, adorned with canvas prints of photos taken during these cherished memories. In the dining room and master bedroom, we meticulously selected the perfect "Santorini blue" tones for the accent walls to continue to narrate their story.
Crafted with Treefrog veneers, the custom millwork combines elegance with durability, while the bathrooms exude a spa-like serenity with their natural textures and sandy hues, enhanced by thoughtful lighting.
For the kids' room, we embraced vibrant colors and durable materials, ensuring a space where creativity knows no bounds. Meanwhile, the guest bedroom invites tropical relaxation with its palm leaf motifs and organic accents.
Overall, our design ethos revolves around a light and airy color palette, inspired by the tranquil hues of sand and sea. Strategic pops of color breathe life and vibrancy into the space, creating the perfect atmosphere for a dreamy vacation home experience. Luis Sanandres InteriorismoEn un mismo espacio diáfano se solapan el living y el dining, que nos permite disfrutar de la luz natural y de las vistas al mar Mediterráneo a través de una gran ventanal y de una balconera que da acceso a la terraza. En ambos casos vestidas por caídas de lino natural, perteneciente a la colección Moritz del fabricante Yutes y confeccionadas por Baqués ,mis tapiceros de confianza.
En esta primera vista se aprecia mejor la iluminación de ambos espacios. En la zona del living se utilizaron elementos contemporáneos; la luminaria técnica modelo IO 48V en 3000K del fabricante Arkoslight y diseñada por Rubén Saldaña. Una lámpara en carril LED de aluminio lacado negro mate, con un diseño minimalista e hiperreducido que se situó sobre la mesa de centro, y como apoyo para iluminar el rincón de lectura justo a la entrada del living, se ubicó sobre una pequeña cómoda de 3 cajones fabricada en madera de nogal diseño “mid century”, una lámpara de sobremesa con el pie en cristal de color blanco y pantalla del mismo color, elementos una vez más provenientes de la colección de mis clientes.
Para la iluminación del dining sobre la mesa de comedor elegí una lámpara de pie, el modelo Robín, del fabricante Carpyen y diseñada por Gabriel Teixidó. Una elegante y sofisticada lámpara extensible y dimable, con estructura y base metálica negra, y brazo flexible en fibra de carbono, con una pantalla ajustable en altura en algodón y tono beige.

White cubby benches, seat cushions, lamp base and drapes are Pottery Barn. Large circle mirror over fireplace is Ballard Designs. Jute rug is from Cost Plus. End tables and lamp shade are Pier 1, and all pillows, throw and accessories are from Home Goods. Custom roman shades are from Budget Blinds.
