This lovely beach cabin was completely remodeled to add more space and make it a bit more functional. Many vintage pieces were reused in keeping with the vintage of the space. We carved out new space in this beach cabin kitchen, bathroom and laundry area that was nonexistent in the previous layout. The original drainboard sink and gas range were incorporated into the new design as well as the reused door on the small reach-in pantry. The white tile countertop is trimmed in nautical rope detail and the backsplash incorporates subtle elements from the sea framed in beach glass colors. The client even chose light fixtures reminiscent of bulkhead lamps.
The bathroom doubles as a laundry area and is painted in blue and white with the same cream painted cabinets and countetop tile as the kitchen. We used a slightly different backsplash and glass pattern here and classic plumbing fixtures.

Gina Drago DesignI always love when a client says “do what you think”. I had the best time designing this beach house for another adorable family. When I learned the homes history and the families Greek heritage, my brain entered Mykonos mode. They agreed and let me run with it. Both floors of the home went thru some major overhaul (pictures to come). Luckily I had a dream of a contractor and some magical tradespeople to work with. Not the quickest reno but I’ve learned in this business, nothing pretty comes easy or fast.

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took a builder basic home and did what others said could not be done. We removed a structural wall that divided the family room -dining area with the living room. Moved the kitchen from its original layout to face the backyard with a view the whole family could enjoy. We focus on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. White walls, wood floors, modern furniture, and minimalist decor are all hallmark traits of a California aesthetic.
A lot of cost were invested into changing the structure so we keep the materials simple, but we were still able to add wood features in the home like the island, the warm toned light fixture centered over the island adds depth to this personal home.

Bob Stern Building CompanyOpened up the kitchen and dining room to create one large open kitchen and dining space with a large boat shaped island. Vinyl plank Lifeproof flooring was used due to the house being on a slab and on the lake. The cabinets are a white shaker from Holiday Kitchens. The tops are granite. A custom cable rail system was installed for the stairway and open loft area on the 2nd floor.
Crista Elizabeth InteriorsOpened up the wall to allow for bar stools. Painted existing cabinetry white and added new quartz countertop, knobs and appliances. 2x6 white matte subway tile on back wall. Added 2 pendants and kitchen nook chandelier. New vinyl flooring throughout.

Complete start to finish kitchen remodel by Village Home Stores featuring coastal colors and Koch Cabinetry in the Bristol door and a combination of Ivory and Capri painted finishes. Cambria quartz in the Berwyn design and luxury vinyl plank flooring from Engineered Floors in the Key Largo color also featured.
EHL KitchensWhat a kitchen this turned out to be! The white maple mock inset-style cabinetry combined with the subtle details of the wire brushed white oak island, matching floating shelves and matching decorative wood hood pull this kitchen space together beautifully. #11919
Tracy Berman InteriorsThis home already had a beachy colorful vibe. Continuing the color pallet to create a cohesive look was a priority. Knowing when and where to add the pops of color helped tone down some spaces, and intensify others.
Space planning was needed to use the square footage for how this family lives. The formal living room was turned in to a new dining space with a live edge table. The old dining space is now a cool loungy wine room, and the kitchen was slightly expanded and opened up. This connected the lower level rooms and created a better flow for entertaining. The entrance to the kitchen was opened up for better visibility and added storage. A color pallet of soft white and grey for the cabinets allowed for the backsplash, with pops of teal blue, be the focal point.
The new wine room has storage for an extensive wine collection and seating to hang out and socialize.
The coffee bar creates a space to keep everything "coffee" together. The patterned tile adds a fun energetic feel and ties the family room to the kitchen. Now all the rooms are used and the home is a great entertaining space.
