This home was office done by Weaver Design Group for the project of "Antiques in Modern Design". The walls are painted in a vibrant pink to offset the black and grey used in the consoles and lamps. The 17th century baroque gilt wood mirror gives weight to an otherwise light and airy room. The pair of Louis XV armchairs sit in front of a modern desk covered in a floral wallpaper. The shell consoles against the wall are wonderfully carved wooden consoles in the form of shells and can be used in a multitude of spaces such as a dining hall or an entrance room or anywhere one pleases. The statue of a lady from the Han dynasty period completes the feminine touch.

ASID 2018 DESIGN OVATION SINGLE SPACE DEDICATED FUNCTION/ SECOND PLACE. The clients requested professional assistance transforming this small, jumbled room with lots of angles into an efficient home office and occasional guest bedroom for visiting family. Maintaining the existing stained wood moldings was requested and the final vision was to reflect their Nigerian heritage in a dramatic and tasteful fashion. Photo by Michael Hunter

A bohemian and eclectic interior was the brief given for this project. Layers of beautiful textiles, patterns and colours were used extensively in this home to create unique and stunning living spaces - even if we do say so ourselves. We call this one textilicious! Photograph by Martina Gemmola

The Study takes on a much more natural approach creating a warm space conducive to reading and working from home. Custom roman shades and seat cushion tailored to the bay window provide a cozy nook for winding down.

This project shows how a small room can become a functional yet stylish home office. Finding the right size desk for its use and space is very important. We added shelving units for great storage and a place to showcase beautiful items, as well as a pull-out couch which provides a seating area or an extra bed for guests to sleep in. This is a great example of how to maximize the use of a space. Photo Credit: Allie Mullin
