Haven Design and ConstructionThis beautiful study was part of a whole house design and renovation by Haven Design and Construction. For this room, our objective was to create a feminine and sophisticated study for our client. She requested a design that was unique and fresh, but still warm and inviting. We wallpapered the back of the bookcases in an eye catching metallic vine pattern to add a feminine touch. Then, we selected a deep gray tone from the wallpaper and painted the bookcases and wainscoting in this striking color. We replaced the carpet with a light wood flooring that compliments the gray woodwork. Our client preferred a petite desk, just large enough for paying bills or working on her laptop, so our first furniture selection was a lovely black desk with feminine curved detailing and delicate star hardware. The room still needed a focal point, so we selected a striking lucite and gold chandelier to set the tone. The design was completed by a pair of gray velvet guest chairs. The gold twig pattern on the back of the chairs compliments the metallic wallpaper pattern perfectly. Finally the room was carefully detailed with unique accessories and custom bound books to fill the bookcases.
AJ Margulis InteriorsA custom home design from the plans to the accessories. This home office is located at the front of the house and the client works hard on her computer but wanted the space to still feel feminine. Using soft greiges and blues, with the addition of wallpaper and gorgeous drapery panels we achieved a clean but lush space.
Nest DesignsFor the entry to the office, we added double barn doors. They were made by a local craftsman.
Tri Point FlooringThis here is a picture of recent hardwood floor we refinished. The homeowner wanted a grey stain, so we did just that! After the grey stain was applied we finished the floor with three coats of Bona Mega HD Satin. This hardwood floor will beautiful for many years to come.
KraftMaster RenovationsHome office is a bright space from the perimeter of windows letting in all of the natural light. height and visual interest form the interior ceiling lines tied together offers spectacular lines. The space is warmed up with the natural slate flooring which has radiant floor hot water heating. The once exterior chimney was cleaned up to expose the beautiful brick. A freestanding wood stove was added and will keep the room toasty during the cold winter nights.
