Christopher Burns InteriorsThe desk is an antique work bench. The cabinet behind is custom and houses the electronics along with refrigerator and freezer drawers.
Aspire DesignMy brief was to design an office space that was multifunctional. It needed plenty of storage for their fabulous collection of books and to include a media area where the room could be utilised by all the family when not in use as an office. The new home office design that I created with new layout enabled me to add additional seating to allow them to watch a movie in the evening or play games on the media unit.
It also incorporates fabulous built in units painted in colourtrends Larkspur. The unit includes a built-in window seat and wrap around corner library bookcases and a custom radiator cover. It contains lots of storage too for board games and media games.

I felt the room was very dark so I chose a colour palette that would brighten the room. I layered it with lots of textured wallpaper from Romo and villa Nova and opulent velvet and printed linen fabrics to create a sophisticated yet funky space for the homeowners. The rust orange fabrics provide a strong contrast against the pale blue and navy colours. Greenery and accessories were added to the shelves for a stylish finish. My clients Aine and Kieran were delighted with the space.

Drewett WorksThis homage to prairie style architecture located at The Rim Golf Club in Payson, Arizona was designed for owner/builder/landscaper Tom Beck.
This home appears literally fastened to the site by way of both careful design as well as a lichen-loving organic material palatte. Forged from a weathering steel roof (aka Cor-Ten), hand-formed cedar beams, laser cut steel fasteners, and a rugged stacked stone veneer base, this home is the ideal northern Arizona getaway.
Expansive covered terraces offer views of the Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish designed golf course, the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the US, as well as the majestic Mogollon Rim and Stewart Mountains, making this an ideal place to beat the heat of the Valley of the Sun.

Davies and FosterOverlooking the River Dee, this bespoke sitting room was inspired by the houses original Georgian style. It consists of alcove cabinets, panelling, bi-fold shutters and 'secret room' shelving and cabinet storage.
The alcove cabinets were made to have inclosed shelving with a mixture of adjustable and fixed shelves to store folders and books. The bottom of the right hand side was requested as a coffee table height and the left was suitable to fit the office computer inside. Both bottom cabinets had wire cable access.
The wall of panelling was carefully designed to all match the alcoves and shutters by using the same style of beading and plinth. The panelling was made from three different size frames and it incorporated the door to the 'secret room' as well as lighting switch for the room.
The shutters were bi-folded and designed to look like a panelled feature once closed. We used magnets to keep the shutters together and stop light coming through once closed.
'Secret room' consists of enclosed shelves, open cabinets and a floating shelf above the door to maximise space for storage of more books.
The alcove cabinets internals are made from real oak veneer coated with a hard wax oil, to give a great long lasting protection. The rest of the furniture are made from a combination of tulipwood and moisture resistant MDF spray finished to match 'Mylands Onslow 48'.

Traci Connell InteriorsA heavy home office was turned into an industrial chic space with different layers of wood tones, metal, textures and colors of blue. The homeowner can enjoy a beautiful view out their front window while taking in the scenery of beauty indoors as well.
Lauren Jacobsen Interior DesignThis fabulous home office was so appreciated when everything was shut down due to the virus. To the right is an outdoor pergola patio with a fireplace and slide-back doors that open the space up and extend the room. The desk is custom designed. The mortise and tenon design allows lots of openings to hide hard drives and wiring which is always the downfall of a great home office. It was a must from us as a design firm that all technology be hidden when not in use.
