Hagstrom BuilderA Minnesota Snowbird couple owned a stunning property on the Florida Gulf, which captured the glorious sunset, from one room in the house- the master bedroom. After years of wanting to renovate this couple decided to overhaul most of the house and in the process add additional outdoor balcony spaces, a bar and a rec-room all on the second floor making it conducive to entertaining without parading company to the master suite! The result is more livable space, and a view of the spectacular setting sun from multiple rooms.
CRC Builders, Inc.The entry powder room received custom cabinets with custom furniture finish of opaque conversion varnish with glaze top coats. The floor received the same tile as the kitchen. The great room has a 14' ceiling, three 5-foot by 7-foot wood outswing doors with arched tops, and the tile used was the same as that used in the kitchen.
Design Directives, LLCThis lovely home began as a complete remodel to a 1960 era ranch home. Warm, sunny colors and traditional details fill every space. The colorful gazebo overlooks the boccii court and a golf course. Shaded by stately palms, the dining patio is surrounded by a wrought iron railing. Hand plastered walls are etched and styled to reflect historical architectural details. The wine room is located in the basement where a cistern had been.

This project was a direct referral from a friend. I was the Architect and helped coordinate with various sub-contractors. I also co-designed the project with various consultants including Interior and Landscape Design
Almost always, and in this case, I do my best to draw out the creativity of my clients, even when they think that they are not creative. This house is a perfect example of that with much of the client's vision and culture infused into the house.
Jonn Spradlin Design LLCThis powder bath leaves all guests impressed with the water flowing from the mirror. The sleek vessel sink and toilet are the perfect companions. While a speculative house, the green doors on the vanity were to be painted to match the plaster walls. However, the new homeowner owned a painting featuring the exact green and red in the room and so it stayed.
