Pineapple House Interior DesignTo create a more usable living room for the lady of the house and her friends, as well as balancing the masculine, dark paneled study across the foyer, Pineapple House designers added a stained paneled wall around the fireplace. The wall of panels help to integrate the television into the formal space.

Cabana HomeThe Living room features an antique French cabinet flanked by an abstract tulip painting of the Cobra School (1948-51), acquired in Amsterdam.
The rooms symmetry is centered by an antique Swedish crystal chandelier, a pair of Baker sofas, an oval ottoman from Mr. & Mrs. Howard for Sherrill, and a pair of “Perch” chairs from Pearson. Scalloped silver-leaf console from Therian.

KE Interiors, Inc.We took an ordinary living room and transformed it into an oasis! We added a round, adobe-style fireplace, beams to the vaulted ceiling, stucco on the walls, and a beautiful chandelier to create this cozy and stylish living room.

On the windows we used cornice boards covered in a damask patterned fabric and attached honey-colored silk drapery panels inspired by grand European pillars. These treatments were ideal for framing the picturesque outside view. We selected a luxurious, golden-colored sofa with a large tone-on-tone damask pattern, an upholstered armchair and a fauteuil, creating a sophisticated, old world feel. A dark wooden cocktail table and side tables with cabriole legs completed the seating arrangement. We chose a variety of accessories in rich gold-tones, accented by robin’s egg blues with gray undertones and terra cotta shades, echoing the colors of many Italian scenes.
