Studio EsarEqual parts functional family home and parent’s haven, the Elwood Residence captures the duality of modern life. From the master bed, nursery and toddler’s room to the living/dining spaces and outdoor pool area, a feeling of ease flows.
As with all our interior decoration projects, great respect was paid to the colour palette. Channelling the depth of the existing kitchen joinery and shades from the living room rug, shades of green were layered amongst the space alongside greys, muted blues and accents of rust and mustard.
Playing on the palette further are two of the home’s standout pieces; a custom pair of Patagonian marble coffee tables and a painting by Black Rock-based artist Hannah Nolan.
With an emphasis on art and creative expression, thoughtful pieces underscore every room, telling the story of a life well lived along the way.

Brooke Sipe InteriorsA child's bedroom simply and sweetly designed for transitional living. Unpretentious and inviting, this space was designed for a toddler boy until he will grow up and move to another room within the home.
This light filled, dusty rose nursery was curated for a long awaited baby girl. The room was designed with warm wood tones, soft neutral textiles, and specially curated artwork. Featured soft sage paint, earth-gray carpet and black and white framed prints. A sweet built-in bookshelf, houses favorite toys and books.

Louise Misell InteriorsA bland spare room has been turned into a playful nursery, brightened up using colour and an animal themed wall mural. The subtly striped wallpaper is taken up across the ceiling, giving the little one lots to look at and creating a cocooning effect.
Kim Tasker Interiors LtdLeopold's parents wanted to create a bright jungle inspired space for him to sleep and play. We painted the lower half of the room green complete with mountain peaks, the upper half off white creating an illusion of a higher ceiling and a neutral backdrop to a bold jungle mural. As well as specifying furniture and accessories to work with items already owned by the client, I also created a space plan that can be adapted easily as Leopold grows!

UserThis space was converted into a nursery for a cool wee dude. The clients wanted a room soft enough for an infant but edgy enough to grow with him as he ages through toddler into the tween years. We used a contrasting color scheme by pairing a pale blue/green with charcoal grey to get the urban feel, Mom and Dad were looking for.

Designs By Des InteriorsThe "Wild Jungle Nursery" was a project we completed for a soon to be transitioning toddler. Our client chose a theme that their son could grow into and could also be educational. By using the wild jungle theme, we created fun decor that was interactive and soothing. We changed the original wall color, lighting, and used some existing furniture to make the transition easier. The nursery is one that can easily be changed to a big boy room, coming soon!
Skéa - décoration et architecture d'intérieurAvec le travail de rénovation opéré, les deux chambres sont désormais totalement symétrique. De quoi éviter les crises de jalousie à l’avenir. Pour l’heure, la chambre verte pastel doit accueillir une petite fille. Tandis que la pièce bleue sert actuellement de bureau et de chambre d’amis. Un grand placard de rangement est créé dans chaque chambre. Leur côté donnant sur le couloir, il est travaillé sous forme d’étagères. Quoi de mieux quelques bibelots pour rendre une pièce accueillante.
