De Meza + ArchitectureThis 1925 Jackson street penthouse boasts 2,600 square feet with an additional 1,000 square foot roof deck. Having only been remodeled a few times the space suffered from an outdated, wall heavy floor plan. Updating the flow was critical to the success of this project. An enclosed kitchen was opened up to become the hub for gathering and entertaining while an antiquated closet was relocated for a sumptuous master bath. The necessity for roof access to the additional outdoor living space allowed for the introduction of a spiral staircase. The sculptural stairs provide a source for natural light and yet another focal point.
CAPITAL BUILDINGThis room plays off a white backdrop against textures, recycled timbers and soft grey accessories. Add the faux fireplace and the room is made for sweet dreams!

Cornerstone ArchitectsNestled into sloping topography, the design of this home allows privacy from the street while providing unique vistas throughout the house and to the surrounding hill country and downtown skyline. Layering rooms with each other as well as circulation galleries, insures seclusion while allowing stunning downtown views. The owners' goals of creating a home with a contemporary flow and finish while providing a warm setting for daily life was accomplished through mixing warm natural finishes such as stained wood with gray tones in concrete and local limestone. The home's program also hinged around using both passive and active green features. Sustainable elements include geothermal heating/cooling, rainwater harvesting, spray foam insulation, high efficiency glazing, recessing lower spaces into the hillside on the west side, and roof/overhang design to provide passive solar coverage of walls and windows. The resulting design is a sustainably balanced, visually pleasing home which reflects the lifestyle and needs of the clients.

De Meza + ArchitectureThis custom home was thoughtfully designed for a young, active family in the heart of wine country. Designed to address the clients’ desire for indoor / outdoor living, the home embraces its surroundings and is sited to take full advantage of the panoramic views and outdoor entertaining spaces. The interior space of the three bedroom, 2.5 bath home is divided into three distinct zones: a public living area; a two bedroom suite; and a separate master suite, which includes an art studio. Casually relaxed, yet startlingly original, the structure gains impact through the sometimes surprising choice of materials, which include field stone, integral concrete floors, glass walls, Honduras mahogany veneers and a copper clad central fireplace. This house showcases the best of modern design while becoming an integral part of its spectacular setting.
BVM INTSOLWe initially kept the design of this room simple. Now, as you can see, it looks much better with the new accents. The client didn't want a separate dressing unit here, only a mirror. Therefore, we've designed full-length mirrors on both sides to achieve symmetry and fulfill the client's requirements. We've created the wall decor using MDF, and it's finished with satin paint in the same color as the laminate we selected. The design we've implemented on the wardrobe laminate is inspired by boho art.Roman blinds have been planned for this window . A corner patta false ceiling has been installed here, and it looks even better with profile lighting.

Il soggetto ricorda vagamente i dipinti giapponesi: l’impeto dell' onda del mare con uccelli che volano accanto ad un sole luminoso. Il letto in tesuto in tinta con la carta. L’illuminazione di questa camera è a faretti nella parte centrale e puntuale sulla parete del letto con luci a comodino a sospensione.
