Dura Supreme Cabinetry“Loft” Living originated in Paris when artists established studios in abandoned warehouses to accommodate the oversized paintings popular at the time. Modern loft environments idealize the characteristics of their early counterparts with high ceilings, exposed beams, open spaces, and vintage flooring or brickwork. This kitchen features Moda cabinet doors with vertical grain, which gives this kitchen its sleek minimalistic design. Lofted design often starts with a neutral color then uses a mix of raw materials, in this kitchen we’ve mixed in brushed metal throughout using Aluminum Framed doors, stainless steel hardware, stainless steel appliances, and glazed tiles for the backsplash.

Tim Wood LimitedThis kitchen was designed for The House and Garden show house which was organised by the IDDA (now The British Institute of Interior Design). Tim Wood was invited to design the kitchen for the showhouse in the style of a Mediterranean villa. Tim Wood designed the kitchen area which ran seamlessly into the dining room, the open garden area next to it was designed by Kevin Mc Cloud.
This bespoke kitchen was made from maple with quilted maple inset panels. All the drawers were made of solid maple and dovetailed and the handles were specially designed in pewter. The work surfaces were made from white limestone and the sink from a solid limestone block. A large storage cupboard contains baskets for food and/or children's toys. The larder cupboard houses a limestone base for putting hot food on and flush maple double sockets for electrical appliances. This maple kitchen has a pale and stylish look with timeless appeal.

Balancing the bold green with a simple light wash of pink on the walls ensures the rich, intense green can take centre stage in the room.
The open walnut shelving within the island is the perfect place to show off larger pottery or glassware, as well as your favourite cookery books.
Complete with a seating area, this island is the perfect area for entertaining friends and family.
With a wonderful backdrop of brass, the light is reflected around the space, enhancing every detail, even down to the matching brass handles and antique brass taps. This open yet comforting canvas will never go out of fashion, with rich colours and warming walnut timber.
The walnut super stave worktop adds a warmth and depth to the kitchen and contributes a beautiful earthy quality to the design. The natural hues of the kitchen and contrasting materials create an incredibly welcoming environment.

UserCustom Ikea cabinet doors in a raised panel made of Cherry wood. The doors are stained and glazed. Our clients get to design the exact profile they would want for their custom Ikea cabinets. The trim around the range hood was specifically designed for these clients. The cover panels were created to match the cabinet doors. Ikea is a great choice to save money but have the flexibility to create the exact kitchen you want.

Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc.This was a full gut an renovation. The existing kitchen had very dated cabinets and didn't function well for the clients. A previous desk area was turned into hidden cabinetry to house the microwave and larger appliances and to keep the countertops clutter free. The original pendants were about 4" wide and were inappropriate for the large island. They were replaced with larger, brighter and more sophisticated pendants. The use of panel ready appliances with large matte black hardware made gave this a clean and sophisticated look. Mosaic tile was installed from the countertop to the ceiling and wall sconces were installed over the kitchen window. A different tile was used in the bar area which has a beverage refrigerator and an ice machine and floating shelves. The cabinetry in this area also includes a pullout drawer for dog food.
Tenhulzen ResidentialSmall island includes eating bar above prep area to accommodate family of 4. A microwave hood vent is the result of storage taking precidence.
