Made by PatchiThis year might just be the year of the bathrooms. Since January, I have been working on six different bathroom projects. They range from full to partial renovation projects. I recently finished the design plans for the three bathrooms at the #themanchesterflip. I have also worked on a very cool master bathroom design project that has been approved and the work is scheduled to start by March. And then, there were the two fulls baths from #clientkoko that are now completed. Today I am happy to share the first one of them.
Twigg + Lu Design CompanyMid century modern bathroom design. Mixing warm wood tones with a lot of white subway tile. We contrasted the subway tile by using black grout. This vanity is "floating" it has no legs and is actually mounted to the wall. Cambria in Brittanica Gold was the perfect choice for this vanity top. We love the movement it provides as well as the warm color. The tub was selected by the home owner, we referred to it as the "egg tub" as it reminded us of a hard boiled egg cut in half. Delta plumbing fixtures were used throughout. We added a lot of plants for a lively feel and to contrast against all of the white.

Mosaik Design & RemodelingBy removing the existing his and her closets from the master bathroom and annexing space from the laundry room, we were able to design in separate tub and showers to fit into the space. White tile with a distinct midcentury pattern on it clads (2) full walls and lightens up the space. The sleek undermount tub with white quartz top is beautiful in its simplicity and is balanced out by the walnut skirt panels that are easily removed by touch latches.
The large format porcelain tile has a natural feel to it which ties in to the mixed grey toned rocks on the shower floor for consistency.

Urbana Design StudioThis primary bathroom renovation-addition incorporates a beautiful Fireclay tile color on the floor, carried through to the wall backsplash. We created a wet room that houses a freestanding tub and shower as the client wanted both in a relatively limited space. The recessed medicine cabinets act as both mirror and additional storage. The horizontal grain rift cut oak vanity adds warmth to the space. A large skylight sits over the shower - tub to bring in a tons of natural light.

AGENT ArchitectureThis is a renovation of the primary bathroom. The existing bathroom was cramped, so some awkward built-ins were removed, and the space simplified. Storage is added above the toilet and window.
