Grey House Kitchens & InteriorsThe customer fell in love with the glass and stone hexagon tile, but to keep the project in budget we chose a less expensive oversized subway tile with glass linear pencil to keep the cost in check.
Classic Structures Inc.This is a small master bathroom with some unique features.
Unique features:
- Glass panel in the shower allows more light from the existing window.
- The entry door has an obscure glass panel for additional light transmission.
- The vanity is mounted to the walls only. This helps with space.
- Shower pan floor.
- Heated floor (it is Oregon).
- Nice fixtures.
Lars Remodeling & DesignThis Point Loma home got a major upgrade! This remodeled bathroom got a modern updated look with walk-in shower geometric floor tiling and vanity. The best part is the modern lighted mirror in this bathroom.
MDB Design GroupThe wall between the toilet and tub was removed. A new soaker tub replaced the old tub. A short wall, surfaced with the same quartz on the tub side, was made to separate the tub and toilet.

MDB Design Group. In keeping with the Mid-century era, the shape and shades of color for the tile on the west wall of the tub/shower was selected. The north wall features glass tile in a stack pattern. The clear glass enclosure, with a pair of swinging doors, completes the tub/shower area.

Made To Last Custom Homes Ltd.Our client fell in love with the original 80s style of this house. However, no part of it had been updated since it was built in 1981. Both the style and structure of the home needed to be drastically updated to turn this house into our client’s dream modern home. We are also excited to announce that this renovation has transformed this 80s house into a multiple award-winning home, including a major award for Renovator of the Year from the Vancouver Island Building Excellence Awards. The original layout for this home was certainly unique. In addition, there was wall-to-wall carpeting (even in the bathroom!) and a poorly maintained exterior.
There were several goals for the Modern Revival home. A new covered parking area, a more appropriate front entry, and a revised layout were all necessary. Therefore, it needed to have square footage added on as well as a complete interior renovation. One of the client’s key goals was to revive the modern 80s style that she grew up loving. Alfresco Living Design and A. Willie Design worked with Made to Last to help the client find creative solutions to their goals.
Suncrest Design & ConstructionLuxurious 6 ft. soaking tub with tile niche fit comfortably in Haven™ guest bath. Bamboo vanity makes up for small granite counter with glass shelving and additional drawer storage to right, built into wall.
Glass French doors add light but allow privacy.
