Amy Carman DesignWhen planning this custom residence, the owners had a clear vision – to create an inviting home for their family, with plenty of opportunities to entertain, play, and relax and unwind. They asked for an interior that was approachable and rugged, with an aesthetic that would stand the test of time. Amy Carman Design was tasked with designing all of the millwork, custom cabinetry and interior architecture throughout, including a private theater, lower level bar, game room and a sport court. A materials palette of reclaimed barn wood, gray-washed oak, natural stone, black windows, handmade and vintage-inspired tile, and a mix of white and stained woodwork help set the stage for the furnishings. This down-to-earth vibe carries through to every piece of furniture, artwork, light fixture and textile in the home, creating an overall sense of warmth and authenticity.

Basso Interiors IncBenjamin Moore's Black Pepper was used to spice up the walls and create a cozy feel for this movie space. We incorporated a new U Shaped Sectional with lots of pillows to allow for all levels of comfort. Cow hide, navy blue fur accents are the star of the show.
Custom Works AV IncScreen Innovations acoustic screen utilizes gray fabric to help compensate for ambient light.

Authenticity, LLCArchitect: Michelle Penn, AIA This luxurious European Romantic design utilizes a high contrast color palette. The home theater utilizes a raised seating concept. It was built simply out of 2x4s with several steps that you can see in another photo. The idea is if the room technology changes or the room function changes, the owner can easily remove the platform! Enjoy the show the the cozy loveseats! Sherwin Williams Paint - Griffin SW 7026.
