Blue Tea Kitchens and BathroomsA kitchen of juxtapositions, dark vs light, texture on texture. Dark veneer cabinetry conceal the pantry and hidden fridge. The lighter cabinetry extends into the living space and has a slimline shaker detail on the doors. A concealed laundry is worked into the space too.

Rift-cut white oak cabinetry, white quartz counters and a soft green tile backsplash are balanced with details that reference the home's history.
Classic light fixtures soften the modern elements.
We created a new arched opening to the living room and removed the trim around other doorways to enlarge them and mimic original arched openings.
Removing an entry closet and breakfast nook opened up the overall footprint and allowed for a functional work zone that includes great counter space on either side of the range, when they had none before.
Studio idoLes caissons bas ont été réutilisés et habillés par des façades sur-mesures en peuplier. Les murs ont été peints en blanc pour gagné en luminosité et en impression d'espace. Le mur est habillé de meubles hauts pour un maximum de rangement. Le damier noir et blanc, élément de décoration graphique, est conservé.
Les clients ont demandé à garder la chaudière apparente.
