This family-centric kitchen was tired and needed an update. Splashes of blue on the island, corner appliance garage and backsplash tile keep it interesting.
Southern Development HomesBacksplash is DalTile 'Siberian Tundra' Mosaic Honed Tile. Countertops are Silestone 'White Storm' engineered quartz. Faucet is Moen Spring 'Align' Chrome Pull Down. Cabinetry is Mid Continent Copenhagen painted maple in 'Ebony'. Stainless steel appliances including GE 30" slide-in convection gas range and chimney hood. Paint color is Sherwin Williams #7030 Anew Gray.
Germano Creative Interior Contracting LtdThis kitchen renovation consisted of a kitchen reface, where we updated the cabinets with an MDF Michigan door style in colour SW6251 - Outerspace featuring black handles. We installed a Quartzite Negresco Honed countertop with a granite sink in pearl black and a chrome faucet and drinking faucet. A white Teramoda tile was installed for the kitchen backsplash. Two pendant lights were installed over the peninsula and we replaced the ceiling light in the dinette area. Vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the kitchen, dinette area, laundry room and hallway/closet leading to garage and baseboards were installed. The entire kitchen, laundry room and hallway area were painted. We also updated the ceiling fixture over the kitchen with pot lights.
MAdkinsKitchen renovation in 1962 home in Oregon. Homeowner acted as the designer, General Contractor and laborer. Floor is Flooret Modin rigid in Sutton color. Cabinets are Barker Modern, Tualatin, Oregon. Color is Oregon Pine textured laminate.
Kitchen Solvers of Greater ClevelandThis outdated kitchen had poor lighting over the counters, and was in need of more storage space. A portion of the kitchen was an addition to the house, which created uneven flooring and gaps in the cabinetry. We removed all the existing cabinets to create a new space for the homeowners. The new cabinets were done in Birch, in the Catalina door style in an Espresso color. A new pantry was also added to give them more storage space. To give the kitchen a little more contrast we did the island in a polar white color while also increasing the storage space. Next, we installed a granite countertop done in Alaska White and a 4” x 12” glossy ceramic subway tile with glass accent tiles backsplash. To finish the updated look, new light fixtures, undercabinet lighting, and a Euro Plank luxury vinyl tile floor was installed. Now the homeowners have the kitchen they’ve been dreaming of.
Addison Grace DesignModern farmhouse kitchen complete with natural wood floating shelves on either side of the massive kitchen window and farmhouse sink. The countertops are kept clean and simple with gray quartz and black drawer and cabinet pulls.
Studio 76 Kitchens and BathsThis homeowner chose two stains for their cabinets and three types of countertops. The perimeter cabinetry features a Shaker door with "eagle rock" stain on maple; the countertop is honed, absolute black granite. The island cabinetry is a smoke stain on Cherry wood; the countertops are a butcherblock and Q Premium Natural Quartz from MSI. The floors are a luxury vinyl by Urban Floors. The "ash gray" cabinet pulls are from Top Knobs. The backsplash is a white 2 x 8.5 inch field tile by Market Collection.
