VictoriaI love the look of board and batten walls but can't afford the full treatment right now. I scoured pictures on the web and found that some people are doing a faux treatment and it turns out pretty effective. So without hesitation...I decided to jump in. I first painted the top portion a dark green (at first I thought...wow that's really dark. But I love the color now). I installed molding horizontally about 5-1/2' from the floor. I next (with the help of the hubby) ripped a 4' x 8' piece of mdf into 3" strips. I then applied them to the wall with construction adhesive and brad nails. I then caulked and painted everything cottage white semi-gloss to match the existing molding throughout the house. Made new curtains, brought the furniture back in. I think it turned out pretty good!
Robinson InteriorsA bright sunny space is treated with cheerful colors. The homeowner's treasured family heirlooms are proudly displayed, including a large antique carved wood regulator clock, a traditional drop leaf library table, and a collection of well-loved silver and aluminum serving platters. This lovely room will be the site of many happy family gatherings where cherished memories will be created for years to come!

GDC ConstructionThe dining room features custom-built cabinets with antique mirrors and a floating, built-in credenza. The brick from the original structure was maintained throughout the residence.
True DesignsNatural, young, and elegant. Located in one of Miami's most calm and residential neighborhoods. This project is a harmonious combination between the beautiful nature surrounding the house and our client's passion for natural elements and contemporary finishes.
Gradient Architecture PLLCAlong the fireplace, the existing brick is exposed to save on finishes, but also add a rustic texture to the space, in contrast with the clean, modern white finishes. To warm up the space, warm walnut furnishings are introduced.
Nicole Rickey Interior DesignThe expansive groin vault ceiling in the formal dining room was hand painted and glazed, and finished with a gold leaf stenciled pattern. It compliments the wine colored venetian plaster finish on the dining room walls.
