AVID Associates LLCA modern and warm wine room and bar in a home in Dallas, Texas features a plate glass wall separating the bar area and climate controlled wine storage. The back wall is accented with an Austin stone material, while modern wine racks are both functional and beautiful. Abstract art pulls in the colors tones in the granite countertops while back lit honey onyx graces the front of the bar. Modern pendant lighting was installed at varying heights for added interest and drama.

Randy TrainorThis three-story vacation home for a family of ski enthusiasts features 5 bedrooms and a six-bed bunk room, 5 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, great room, 2 wet bars, great room, exercise room, basement game room, office, mud room, ski work room, decks, stone patio with sunken hot tub, garage, and elevator.
The home sits into an extremely steep, half-acre lot that shares a property line with a ski resort and allows for ski-in, ski-out access to the mountain’s 61 trails. This unique location and challenging terrain informed the home’s siting, footprint, program, design, interior design, finishes, and custom made furniture.

White Wood KitchensThis storm grey kitchen on Cape Cod was designed by Gail of White Wood Kitchens. The cabinets are all plywood with soft close hinges made by UltraCraft Cabinetry. The doors are a Lauderdale style constructed from Red Birch with a Storm Grey stained finish. The island countertop is a Fantasy Brown granite while the perimeter of the kitchen is an Absolute Black Leathered. The wet bar has a Thunder Grey Silestone countertop. The island features shelves for cookbooks and there are many unique storage features in the kitchen and the wet bar to optimize the space and functionality of the kitchen. Bilotta Kitchen & HomeClassic elegance with a fresh face characterizes this stunner, adorned in Benjamin Moore’s pale green “Vale Mist”. For a serene, cohesive look, the beadboard and casings are painted to match. Counters and backsplashes are subtly-veined Himalayan Marble. Flat panel inset cabinetry was enhanced with a delicate ogee profile and graceful bracket feet. Oak floors were artfully stenciled to form a diamond pattern with intersecting dots. Brushed brass fixtures and hardware lend old-world appeal with a stylish flourish. Balancing the formality are casual rattan bistro stools and dining chairs. A metal-rimmed glass tabletop allows full view of the curvaceous walnut pedestal.
Tucked into the narrow end of the kitchen is a cozy desk. Its walnut top warms the space, while mullion glass doors contribute openness. Preventing claustrophobia is a frosted wheel-style oculus window to boost light and depth.
A bold statement is made for the small hutch, where a neutral animal print wallpaper is paired with Benjamin Moore’s ruby-red semi-gloss “My Valentine” paint on cabinetry and trim. Glass doors display serving pieces. Juxtaposed against the saturated hue is the pop of a white marble counter and contemporary acrylic handles. What could have been a drab niche is now a jewel box!

M.J. Whelan ConstructionWhat was once an empty unfinished 2,400 sq. ft. basement is now a luxurious entertaining space. This newly renovated walkout basement features segmental arches that bring architecture and character. In the basement bar, the modern antique mirror tile backsplash runs countertop to ceiling. Two inch thick marble countertops give a strong presence. Beautiful dark Java Wood-Mode cabinets with a transitional style door finish off the bar area. New appliances such an ice maker, dishwasher, and a beverage refrigerator have been installed and add contemporary function. Unique pendant lights with crystal bulbs add to the bling that sets this bar apart.The entertainment experience is rounded out with the addition of a game area and a TV viewing area, complete with a direct vent fireplace. Mirrored French doors flank the fireplace opening into small closets. The dining area design is the embodiment of leisure and modern sophistication, as the engineered hickory hardwood carries through the finished basement and ties the look together. The basement exercise room is finished off with paneled wood plank walls and home gym horsemats for the flooring. The space will welcome guests and serve as a luxurious retreat for friends and family for years to come.
S.J. Janis Company, Inc.The use of the glass doors which are insulated to limit energy transfer on the stainless steel refrigerator is a clean, simple way to display the beverages. The Kegerator cabinet allows for the ability to serve three beers of choice always at a optimum temperature. The stone backsplash detail is shown off at night from the undercabinet lighting.
Nar Design GroupOur carpenters labored every detail from chainsaws to the finest of chisels and brad nails to achieve this eclectic industrial design. This project was not about just putting two things together, it was about coming up with the best solutions to accomplish the overall vision. A true meeting of the minds was required around every turn to achieve "rough" in its most luxurious state.
Featuring multiple Columbia Cabinet finishes; contrasting backsplashes, wall textures and flooring are all part of what makes this project so unique! Features include: Sharp microwave drawer, glass front wine fridge, fully integrated dishwasher, Blanco compost bin recessed into the counter, Walnut floating shelves, and barn house lighting.

Kitchen Ideas, LLCThis bright & beautiful traditional kitchen includes a separate beverage area with small microwave oven, under counter Sub-Zero beverage refrigerator and mirror backsplash. The cabinets are UltraCraft Crystal Lake Maple with a Melted Brie painted finish with brushed granite counter top.
Robin's Nest InteriorsDirectly across from the entrance is a small Kitchenette which houses a corner sink, a microwave, and a beverage center. The cabinetry by PC Homes in New Albany, IN has a painted black finish with a bronze glaze. The countertops are quartz by Cambria. The faucets and cabinetry hardware is in a brushed nickel finish to pop off the dark cabinetry. We did not want this area to feel like a Kitchen, so in lieu of upper cabinets, we did chunky floating shelves the same wood tone as the china cabinet nestled between the two bump outs. We accessorized with the homeowner’s collection of white dish ware. The homeowner found this fabulous wood cutout of the state of Kentucky at a local art gallery.
