TVL Creative Ltd.This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics.
Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements.
Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper.
Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.
Petoskey Kitchen and Bath - Designs By DawnThis cottage remodel on Lake Charlevoix was such a fun project to work on. We really strived to bring in the coastal elements around the home to give this cottage it's asthetics. You will see a lot of whites, light blues, and some grey/greige accents as well.

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsLight and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls.
ArchitecTor, PCCasual Eclectic Elegance defines this 4900 SF Scottsdale home that is centered around a pyramid shaped Great Room ceiling. The clean contemporary lines are complimented by natural wood ceilings and subtle hidden soffit lighting throughout. This one-acre estate has something for everyone including a lap pool, game room and an exercise room.
Nick Wall Design + Build'Smoke and mirrors' - tucked away under the stairs is this smart loo with the 'kitchen worktop' oak treads and risers exposed. Under shelf lighting and mirrors right down to the floor (you can see my reflection) add interest along with the hardwood pebbles from a Russian street artisan on Charles Bridge in Prague.
Chrysalide ArchitectureRénovation de la salle de bain, de son dressing, des wc qui n'avaient jamais été remis au goût du jour depuis la construction.
La salle de bain a entièrement été démolie pour ré installer une baignoire 180x80, une douche de 160x80 et un meuble double vasque de 150cm.
北野彰作建築研究所古民家ゆえ圧倒的にブラウン系の色調が多いので、トイレ空間だけはホワイトを基調としたモノトーン系のカラースキームとしました。安価なイメージにならないようにと、床・壁ともに外国産のセラミックタイルを貼り、間接照明で柔らかい光に包まれるような照明計画としました。
Plain & PoshThis master bath was dark and dated. Although a large space, the area felt small and obtrusive. By removing the columns and step up, widening the shower and creating a true toilet room I was able to give the homeowner a truly luxurious master retreat. (check out the before pictures at the end) The ceiling detail was the icing on the cake! It follows the angled wall of the shower and dressing table and makes the space seem so much larger than it is. The homeowners love their Nantucket roots and wanted this space to reflect that.
