Meadowlark Design+BuildThe original home ended where the vertical columns are in the living room. The addition included the dining area, outdoor deck to the right and screened porch to the left. Structural walls were removed to create the open-concept space and thus a unique LVL beam was installed to add the required support.
Interior Enhancement Group, Inc.Dramatically large nudes sourced from Christopher Guy soar above the glamorously curved sofa and tub chair. Glass accents contribute to the contemporary feeling - including the cocktail table insets, the table lamp and the cut glass accessories.
Robin's Nest InteriorsAdding Textures
We positioned the homeowner’s antique table behind the sectional for art projects and crafts. The homeowner’s rattan chairs add texture. The lamps – one with burlap shade and one with large glass base – bring in natural elements.The linen drapery panels frame the large window covered in a soft fabric shade. The antique sewing machine is the perfect size for the corner. The homeowner’s unique pottery and colorful artwork complete the vignette.
Piano Nook
The wall opposite the window is home for the family’s piano. We continued with our accents colors with the accessories, artwork, and textiles. The armed floor lamp is perfect for the low club chair we reupholstered in this fabulous paisley fabric. The black armoire houses toys, blankets and extra linens. The colorful artwork and small chair finish off the corner. The gray carpet with a subtle pattern is soft underfoot and the perfect backdrop for all of the pops of color dispersed through the large space. This Frankfort Home: Basement Family Room is a light airy space with pops of wonderful oranges and dark teals and proves that the basement does not have to be a dungeon or graveyard for your leftover furniture.

Design Connection, Inc.The music room reflects the colors and the style that the client loves: classic black, white, and red.
To give the fireplace an update, the traditional wood molding surrounding the fireplace were changed to a sleek and clean-lined fireplace surround. Mosaic accent in red glass tile gives the fireplace surround a distinct characteristic.
The two end tables were custom-painted to match the color scheme and existing two arm chairs. The round ottoman in off-white complements the existing chairs, while providing a landing space without taking up too much room.
The wrought iron sconces with crystal droplets and the drapery rods with crystal finials add a touch of elegance to the music room.
