Joni Spear Interior DesignWhen the homeowners purchased this sprawling 1950’s rambler, the aesthetics would have discouraged all but the most intrepid. The décor was an unfortunate time capsule from the early 70s. And not in the cool way - in the what-were-they-thinking way. When unsightly wall-to-wall carpeting and heavy obtrusive draperies were removed, they discovered the room rested on a slab. Knowing carpet or vinyl was not a desirable option, they selected honed marble. Situated between the formal living room and kitchen, the family room is now a perfect spot for casual lounging in front of the television. The space proffers additional duty for hosting casual meals in front of the fireplace and rowdy game nights. The designer’s inspiration for a room resembling a cozy club came from an English pub located in the countryside of Cotswold. With extreme winters and cold feet, they installed radiant heat under the marble to achieve year 'round warmth. The time-honored, existing millwork was painted the same shade of British racing green adorning the adjacent kitchen's judiciously-chosen details. Reclaimed light fixtures both flanking the walls and suspended from the ceiling are dimmable to add to the room's cozy charms. Floor-to-ceiling windows on either side of the space provide ample natural light to provide relief to the sumptuous color palette. A whimsical collection of art, artifacts and textiles buttress the club atmosphere.
CAS ArchitectureThe dark green walls make the alcoves seem deeper, contrasted with light coloured furniture and textures to create a contemporary living room.
Two Hands InteriorsA punchy chartreuse and black palette brings a fresh and inviting vibe to this family library. Mise en matièreDans cette petite maison de la banlieue sud de Paris, construite dans les année 60 mais reflétant un style Le Corbusier bien marqué, nos clients ont souhaité faire une rénovation de la décoration en allant un peu plus loin dans le style. Nous avons créé pour eux cette fresque moderne en gardant les lignes proposées par la bibliothèque en bois existante. Nous avons poursuivit l'oeuvre dans la cage d'escalier afin de créer un unité dans ces espaces ouverts et afin de donner faire renaitre l'ambiance "fifties" d'origine. L'oeuvre a été créé sur maquette numérique, puis une fois les couleurs définies, les tracés puis la peinture ont été réalisé par nos soins après que les murs ait été restaurés par un peintre en bâtiment.
Imperfect InteriorsThis large family home in Brockley had incredible proportions & beautiful period details, which the owners lovingly restored and which we used as the focus of the redecoration. A mix of muted colours & traditional shapes contrast with bolder deep blues, black, mid-century furniture & contemporary patterns.
Folds Inside LtdThe clients of the Blackheath Project wanted to add colour and interest to the existing living space in their modern home. A bold green feature wall sits together beautifully with the stunning timber joinery and flooring. The green theme is continued with the addition of the cushions and lounge chairs, while contrasting accessories and art tie the space together.
HestThe style of the interior was inspired by a modernist style with furniture having it’s delicate oval finish common in retro style.

Je mets toujours un point d’honneur à m’inscrire dans l’histoire du lieu en travaillant avec des matériaux authentiques, quelles que soient la nature et la taille du projet. » Aujourd’hui, l’ancien petit salon et sa cuisine attenante ont été réunis en une seule pièce, privilégiant ainsi la convivialité et l’esthétisme.
Florence a conceptualisé la cuisine avec deux plans de travail dont un îlot XXL qui dissimule de grands tiroirs de rangement, ainsi qu’une table de cuisson. Attenant à la cuisine, un escalier..Voici une pièce à vivre en deux parties. La cuisine (Record è Cucine),
réalisée en Fenix (panneau en stratifié) et bois brut, se distingue de la salle à manger par un jeu de couleurs en clair-obscur, inspiré par la végétation environnante. La décoration éclectique associe d’anciennes lampes à pétrole provenant d’un
paquebot indien à des créations actuelles. Plan de travail en granit du Zimbabwe et en acier brossé sur l’îlot central. Peinture « Inchyra Blue » (vert foncé) et « Cinder Rose » (rose clair), Farrow & Ball. Robinetterie, Hansgrohe. Serviettes de table, Society Limonta. Rideau, Élitis. Torchons, Harmony. Plateau et pichet, Maison Sarah Lavoine.
Drewett WorksA fresh interpretation of the western farmhouse, The Sycamore, with its high pitch rooflines, custom interior trusses, and reclaimed hardwood floors offers irresistible modern warmth.
When merging the past indigenous citrus farms with today’s modern aesthetic, the result is a celebration of the Western Farmhouse. The goal was to craft a community canvas where homes exist as a supporting cast to an overall community composition. The extreme continuity in form, materials, and function allows the residents and their lives to be the focus rather than architecture. The unified architectural canvas catalyzes a sense of community rather than the singular aesthetic expression of 16 individual homes. This sense of community is the basis for the culture of The Sycamore.
The western farmhouse revival style embodied at The Sycamore features elegant, gabled structures, open living spaces, porches, and balconies. Utilizing the ideas, methods, and materials of today, we have created a modern twist on an American tradition. While the farmhouse essence is nostalgic, the cool, modern vibe brings a balance of beauty and efficiency. The modern aura of the architecture offers calm, restoration, and revitalization.
Located at 37th Street and Campbell in the western portion of the popular Arcadia residential neighborhood in Central Phoenix, the Sycamore is surrounded by some of Central Phoenix’s finest amenities, including walkable access to premier eateries such as La Grande Orange, Postino, North, and Chelsea’s Kitchen.
