UserThis is an "after" photo of the new family room wall. The original firebox was moved closer to the floor. The mantle and hearth are new as is the media cabinet. The new fireplace surround and cabinetry reflect an entirely new aesthetic for the home (see before picture).
Lisette Voute DesignsWe sanded down the original hardwood floorboards throughout the property and added a lovely rich dark stain, making it both chic and cosy. The tongue and groove panelling really adds to the cosy cottage feel of the space. We replaced the fireplace hearth with warm limestone - both fresh and light. The furniture is mostly antiques. We opened up the wall between the living room and kitchen and created an archway with double pocket doors.

F. D. Hodge InteriorsA pair of vintage 1970's club chairs were restyled when reupholstered to give them a more updated look. The vintage drinks table has a very practical melamine top. Atop the mantle sits a collection of modern art pottery am=long with other small treasures. The Biedermeier clock has an elegant sculptural quality. The artwork is by Frank Hodge.
