Blurring of the line between inside and out has been established throughout this home. Space is not determined by the enclosure but through the idea of space extending past perceived barriers into an expanded form of living indoors and out. Even in this harsh environment, one is able to enjoy this concept through the development of exterior courts which are designed to shade and protect. Reminiscent of the crevices found in our rock formations where one often finds an oasis of life in this environment.

Office SPIRAL築40年近いマンションの最上階のお部屋です。吹き抜けのリビングの照明が古くなり、交換したいというのがきっかけでご依頼を頂き、その後も続いて住戸全体のリフォームをさせて頂くことになりました。
マンションで一般的なブラウン系のフローリング、隣接する和室はベージュの襖でしたが、シンプルモダンにしたいとのご希望で内装を一新しました。
家具はもともとお持ちのもの、奥にある絵画もお客様のもので、千住博さんの作品です。
