No Longer In BusinessThe modern Ploum Settee in a bold blue fabric anchors the room. To mirror the white lacquer and wood from the opposite end of the house in the kitchen we used a this white lacquer and mangrove wood table. Again the juxtaposition of modern and traditional is used in the side chair. The contemporary shape is upholstered with an large houndstooth fabric. The art piece is another use of nature to bring the outside in. This piece is by Jackie Battenfield. Since there are lot of kids in the family the use of whimsical sculptures representing childhood games and fun from the artist Kaiser Suidan spill down the wall effortlessly.

J Hill Interiors was hired to fully furnish this lovely 6,200 square foot home located on Coronado’s bay and golf course facing promenade. Everything from window treatments to decor was designed and procured by J Hill Interiors, as well as all new paint, wall treatments, flooring, lighting and tile work. Original architecture and build done by Dorothy Howard and Lorton Mitchell of Coronado, CA.
Ancient SurfacesThis vibrant Mediterranean style residence designed by Wiseman & Gale Interiors is located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Antique limestone fireplace hand picked by the designer from Ancient Surfaces.
OLSON LEWIS + ArchitectsMajor gut renovation of this coastal estate preserved its basic layout while expanding the kitchen. A veranda and a pair of gazebos were also added to the home to maximize outdoor living and the water views. The interior merged the homeowners eclectic style with the traditional style of the home.

Annette Jaffe InteriorsOur Long Island studio gave this Manhattan home an eclectic, colorful look. The home flaunts multiple living areas like a mid-sized, open concept family room with medium-tone wood flooring, gray walls, a metal fireplace, and no tv. The other living areas are accessorized with comfy furniture, quirky accents, and pops of bright color, while the L-shaped kitchen has a medium-tone wood floor and white flat-panel cabinets.

Rachel Reider InteriorsThis is another view of the family room with the Mitchell Gold red mohair velvet couch that pulls out for overnight guests. The side chair is also by Mitchell Gold and the rug is by West Elm. The walls are papered in a teal grasscloth and the drum light fixture was rewired after moving it from the family's Paris apartment.
