The existing slate tiled terrace was extended with the addition of an entertaining deck. Garden bed edging of recycled bluestone surrounds a new lawn of Matilda Buffalo grass beneath existing native Agonis and Tea-tree. The natural materials reflect the timber and masonry of the home and native plantings complement the Bayside location.

The goal of this landscape design and build project was to mitigate run-off from a steep hillside as well as to beautify the front foundation planting at a condo complex in South Boston. This design features a traditional approach to the front walkway using a mix of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, an oramental weeping tree, and a mix of perennials. Along the slope, our approach was to utilize a mix of grasses to hold soil and also to create swathes of color during the Fall season. Designed and built by Skyline Landscapes, LLC.

After one of the family took a fall on a slippery, sloped and painted walkway, our clients decided it was time to update their home's entry walkway. A large cedar tree, in poor health, also dripped sap on the sidewalk and parked cars, creating a sticky mess. We replaced the tree and water wasting lawn with drought tolerant alternatives and created a lighted, flagstone pathway, with custom steel railing leading to the front door. In the backyard, our clients wanted to create a space for entertaining, hanging out with their grandchildren, and growing their own vegetables. The yard was replaced with a flagstone patio including a large raised bed. We also hid the air conditiong unit to create a convivial and functional area.
