Cathie Hong InteriorsThis young married couple enlisted our help to update their recently purchased condo into a brighter, open space that reflected their taste. They traveled to Copenhagen at the onset of their trip, and that trip largely influenced the design direction of their home, from the herringbone floors to the Copenhagen-based kitchen cabinetry. We blended their love of European interiors with their Asian heritage and created a soft, minimalist, cozy interior with an emphasis on clean lines and muted palettes.
G.B. Construction and Development, Inc.Master Bathroom remodel in North Fork vacation house. The marble tile floor flows straight through to the shower eliminating the need for a curb. A stationary glass panel keeps the water in and eliminates the need for a door. Glass tile on the walls compliments the marble on the floor while maintaining the modern feel of the space.

LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASIDOne of the main features of the space is the natural lighting. The windows allow someone to feel they are in their own private oasis. The wide plank European oak floors, with a brushed finish, contribute to the warmth felt in this bathroom, along with warm neutrals, whites and grays. The counter tops are a stunning Calcatta Latte marble as is the basket weaved shower floor, 1x1 square mosaics separating each row of the large format, rectangular tiles, also marble. Lighting is key in any bathroom and there is more than sufficient lighting provided by Ralph Lauren, by Circa Lighting. Classic, custom designed cabinetry optimizes the space by providing plenty of storage for toiletries, linens and more. Nautilus HomesThis master bathroom is elegant and rich. The materials used are all premium materials yet they are not boastful, creating a true old world quality. The sea-foam colored hand made and glazed wall tiles are meticulously placed to create straight lines despite the abnormal shapes. The Restoration Hardware sconces and orb chandelier both complement and contrast the traditional style of the furniture vanity, Rohl plumbing fixtures and claw foot tub.
Design solutions include selecting mosaic hexagonal Calcutta gold floor tile as the perfect complement to the horizontal and linear look of the wall tile. As well, the crown molding is set at the elevation of the shower soffit and top of the window casing (not seen here) to provide a purposeful termination of the tile. Notice the full tiles at the top and bottom of the wall, small details such as this are what really brings the architect's intention to full expression with our projects.

Innovative Design BuildOur clients wished for a larger main bathroom with more light and storage. We expanded the footprint and used light colored marble tile, countertops and paint colors to give the room a brighter feel and added a cherry wood vanity to warm up the space. The matt black finish of the glass shower panels and the mirrors allows for top billing in this design and gives it a more modern feel.

Plain & PoshThe homeowners wanted to improve the layout and function of their tired 1980’s bathrooms. The master bath had a huge sunken tub that took up half the floor space and the shower was tiny and in small room with the toilet. We created a new toilet room and moved the shower to allow it to grow in size. This new space is far more in tune with the client’s needs. The kid’s bath was a large space. It only needed to be updated to today’s look and to flow with the rest of the house. The powder room was small, adding the pedestal sink opened it up and the wallpaper and ship lap added the character that it needed
Harris Renovations, LLCWhat was once a dark, unwelcoming alcove is now a bright, luxurious haven. The over-sized soaker fills this extra large space and is complimented with 3 x 12 subway tiles. The contrasting grout color speaks to the black fixtures and accents throughout the room. We love the custom-sized niches that perfectly hold the client's "jellies and jams."
DiGiacomo Homes & RenovationWith no windows or natural light, we used a combination of artificial light, open space, and white walls to brighten this master bath remodel. Over the white, we layered a sophisticated palette of finishes that embrace color, pattern, and texture: 1) long hex accent tile in “lemongrass” gold from Walker Zanger (mounted vertically for a new take on mid-century aesthetics); 2) large format slate gray floor tile to ground the room; 3) textured 2X10 glossy white shower field tile (can’t resist touching it); 4) rich walnut wraps with heavy graining to define task areas; and 5) dirty blue accessories to provide contrast and interest.
